Thanks for the info. I have dug deep in this and found some other options:

1. State PC. Some Visa offices do accept State PC if your FBI PC application has been rejected multiple times.

2. Request FBI to do a name check. However there is no telling of how long it will take.

Thx. I read your signature and it looks like FBI PC was the last thing that was holding up your application. Good luck with your application as well!

Yes I obtained Gcms notes. Everything else was pretty much done except criminality n security check. It's was long long wait. I hope I get some movement soon. I have deadlin for FBI on 31 March. May be my document will be reviewed on that day.
Thanks for wishes. Good luck to u.

A month or 2... Even earlier in few cases..

I kind of know the answer but just becoming impatient. I still wonder why some people get all done in 2 months or less and others have to wait 2 more months after document submission when other things are most likely done. It's already over six months. I hope this ends on a positive note soon

Does anyone know which application date is processing? I send mail to FBI but till now didn't get any response

Just call them on the number listed on their website. They will give you the information about processing times and the application dates they are currently processing. I did the same while tracking my PCC application. Hope this helps.

You are welcome. FBI name check for 80% cases takes only two weeks if there is no match found on their records. In rare cases where matches are found takes six months or more.

Just got the update, they are Processing application received Dec - 21, opening packages received Dec - 23

So I have an update, my husband's prints went through contrary to what the guy I spoke to told me. We received his prints in the mail. I sent an email this morning, appealing for an expedited processing of my prints the was delivered on March 7. Not sure if it will be granted but I will so happy if it is. This is the 3rd time now...so frustrating. Our FBI timeline is below:

Application delivered: December 10 2015
CC charged: March 22 2016
Date of report: March 23 2016
Mailed out: March 25 2016
Received: March 28 2016 (Houston, Texas...pretty fast, considering it was Easter)

With the current trend of processing time, any prediction how fast or slow its moving ? my application received 22nd Feb 2016. I am bit worried as my wife's finger prints less visible for four fingers compared to mine.

Only 6 days post cc charge. Now, that's quite impressive considering you live down south

According to a graph that was posted on a previous page, the processing seems to have sped up by about half a week compared to the historic low of 15 weeks that it was at until last month.

Today 23rd Dec is getting processed.
