My CC was charged today.
I dont have the exact date when FBI received my documents since it was sent via regular post mail but i mailed it on Nov 21st (my guess is they should have received by Nov 25th).
Those of you who are applying from within US, if you goto the police station, they will provide their own FD-258 fingerprinting form with much better quality (without paying anything).
Only Issue with this form is there was ORI information already printed with the Local Police info which the police officer asked me to use white out (called FBI and verified that it works fine).
I know some of us have spent more than $100.00 just for this process, if this FD-258 works I will be getting the FBI report for two of us including my wife for the total cost of $36.50 (stamp: 50 cents).
Thanks all!

You have not provided such letter from your current employer. ABC. I am not satisfied that u performed duties of a 2232 as set out in NOC. Therefore i don't awarded points.”

Info is correct, only for GC holders and Citizens!!!nskatcv said:That is correct !
The relevant page at CIC has recently been updated (Date Modified: 2015-01-19). Please check..

So evidently, CIC approves non US citizens to get a PCC from a Channeler, but the Channelers cannot issue the same. Irony !jithesh69 said:Info is correct, only for GC holders and Citizens!!!
This page says it all - http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks/fbi-approved-channelers
An FBI-approved Channeler may only process requests for a U.S. person (an individual who is a citizen of the U.S. or a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.). A lawful permanent resident is any person not a citizen of the U.S. who is residing in the U.S. under legally recognized and lawfully recorded permanent residence as an immigrant (also known “Permanent Resident Alien,” “Resident Alien Permit Holder,” and “Green Card Holder”).
Why not?nskatcv said:And why would a US Green Card holder or a Citizen apply for Canadian PR ?
