I think you should read your passport. It clearly says that you cannot send it outside the country you live it. You can authorize a person to carry it out for you though. On the other hand I have heard of people sending the passport by mail/post. Other countries allow it, but India doesn't. So it invariably goes through without any problems in the customs in CA/US. (unless you are a fool and try to send this through the Indian customs. I know someone who got his passport revoked for 3 or 5 years.)zentury said:Good point.. Your visa office remains CPC-O. When you get the PPR, you tell them that you would like to print your visa in the US. After a month the Los Angeles consulate would contact you. (I didn't select Los Angeles. It is furtherest from me. However only a few consulates can do the PR visa printing.)
