If you guys have examples for the rest of the stages, DM, PPR, COPR. Then please send me so I can add them here. Thanks! I hope this get stickied since a lot of people are asking the same questions. And also hoping to make the spreadsheet become more consistent.

just note that some people might not get MVO email. some people also get AOR2 email. i didn't get AOR2 email but i got MVO email. it's case to case basis. what is important is the third line in ECAS.

we call it third line because it's like the third or fourth update even though it is actually situated on the second line. lol.

im a new applicant, i have only send the application a few days ago. can someone tell me whats the difference between gckey login and ecas?

Hi,

How long after your file was transferred did you get an email from MVO? I got an email about the file transfer on Oct 6 but I haven't receive an email from MVO. Will it go to the representative (in this case I am the sponsor and un-paid representative), or to the PA? But I do see that line on ECAS..

Thanks!

there is really no difference. both are just tools. you can use them if you want. it's not mandatory for your application. GCKEY is where you usually upload additional documents when requested by the VO. ECAS is simple just an application status report. ECAS usually lags behind quite a lot.

A lot of people seem to be saying that AOR2 is the file transfer email.

Did you apply inland or Outland? As I am very curious to know if applications are transferred to VO’s of sponsored spouses citizenship.

Very very helpful. Thanks a lot

i applied outland. but to answer your question, the file gets transferred to the VO where the PA currently lives. citizenship does not matter. say for example you (PA) are a Filipino citizen but you are currently living in Canada as a temporary worker, then your VO will be Mississauga.

Does anyone have an updated timeline from IRCC? October 24th when someone called they were working on August 31st. I am aware of the approx 2 months due to summer influx of applications. I am assuming that it slows down in the winter months and timelines get a little more reasonable.

Our Current Timeline
Original Package received Purolator August 18th Mississauga
Package returned October 5th via Canada Post received October 10
Package completed and resent received October 16th
Anticipated AOR between December 10-31st 2017
OWP on current processing times of 11 weeks would make Mid March for OWP approval.

Hope this helps as this is just based on the information provided via this forum and the CIC website.

This is really great and you are so thoughtful!!!! Thank you men.
I was wondering why they still didn't send me AOR2 since my file was transferred to Nairobi VO on Sep 21,2017 and i was expecting an email because i saw sample ARO2 in the consolidated spreadsheet. But thanks to this generous man i got the answer from this post, the second line of my Ecas say " we started processing your application on September 27,2017. " it feels good to get a satisfying answer. :)

glad i've been of help. :)
