i applied outland. but to answer your question, the file gets transferred to the VO where the PA currently lives. citizenship does not matter. say for example you (PA) are a Filipino citizen but you are currently living in Canada as a temporary worker, then your VO will be Mississauga.

Is this still true?? I’ve been in Canada as a student for the past 4 years and background check already started in CPC Sydney (NS) so I don’t know if my file will be transferred or not

Hi, Can u please help me with this. It’s really frustrating waiting for sponsorship papers while me and my husband each living in diffrent countries.
I applied in august 2018,outland, we have received a letter saying they have received the file and are proccessing it on 1 september 2018, and then they requested biometrics fees to be paid. We paid. They sent us letter on 10 sept saying they appreciate we paid the fees that fast. And that’s it !! It s been 3 months and did not hear anything yet. Do you think it’s normal? Appreciate your help.
