Hi I have another question.
On the Details of Family Members on page 2 of the IMM0008 section. Do I (I am the one being sponsored) have to include....Mother, sisters, brothers....ect..
I know I have to include my children even if they are over 18, also what if you don't know the whereabouts of your child if he/she is over 18? My son in 29 and I have not seen or heard from
him in over 5 years. How do I explain that to immagration??

Please if anyone can help I would appreicate it
I think I have a good idea of the rest of the application, that family member part is just fuzzy to me.

Thanks

Since no one has responded only to copy and paste what I have asked. I'm assuming that no one knows the answer to my question.

Please, if you have had any expierance with this, I need some help.

Thank you

Ok, so on the step children. Does that mean my sponsor's (ie:my husband's) children?

My husband is sponsoring me and he has a daughter, so do I put her on MY application?

Thanks

Your sponsor is a Canadian citizen or resident, so his daughter is probably a Canadian citizen as well, so you don't have to include it on your application.

My husband (sponsor) is a Canadian Citizen and so is his daughter. so from what i'm understanding I DON'T need to include her on my application?

Also I have yet another question, on the Schedule ! Background/Declaration IMM0008
it askes you on question #15 Addresses, List all addresses where you have lived since your 18th birthday.
I happen to be 47 years old and I can't remember where I have lived since my 18th birthday!!!
I can go back 10 years, but after that I have no idea and don't even have a clue where I could get
that information. Does immagration really want ALL the addresses where I have lived for over 20 years??
Please help if you can......

Hello Dallasgal

The most important information that they require is what city and country have you lived since you were 18 Years old. I agree with you that it is very diffcult to remember addresses of all the places you have lived since you were 18 years old which is nearly 30 Years worth of information. I would suggest that for the Years that you remember the exact address , please write that down.

Good Luck.

Ok more question, you guys are so informative about this mess.
On the application to sponsor and undertaking (IMM1344 A), my husband is confused when it
askes on question 11 if you are a permanent resident or a NATURALIZED Canadian citizen, give the name of the country where your application for permanent residence was processed. He is a BORN Canadian,
what does he put in this box. and what do they mean by NATURALIZED?

Thanks to everyone who has helped me out.........you have been a life saver

Hello Dallasgal

On question 10 please tell your Husband to select YES as Canadian Citizen and under date please ask him to put his date of birth because as he was born in Canada , he became a citizen on the day he was born. Make sure under permanent resident question he does not select YES or NO because he is a Citizen and not a Permanent Resident.

Since he is a Citizen by Birth he can leave question 11 blank or put NOT APPLICABLE.

A Naturalized Canadian Citizen is someone that was born outside Canada and became a Citizen after becoming a permanent resident and lived in Canada for 3 years and more.

Good Luck.
