Hello,

I want to know the number of persons I am allowed to sponsor in Canada to get their work permit and permanent resident card.

Can I sponsor my spouse and younger brother please?

If yes, how long will it take for them to get their PR?

Thanks a million.

what is your status in Canada? are your PR or Citizen? If so, you can sponsor your spouse to become a canadian PR and can start by reading the spousal sponsorship guide on the IRCC website for the requirements. The process can take up to 12 months, depending on which visa office processes the application.

If your brother has parents still alive or is over 19 years old, then you can not sponsor him through family sponsorship. he will need to immigrate to canada on his own. he can start by looking on the IRCC website for which programs/visas he can qualify for.

Your younger brother, or your spouse's younger brother? Either way, the answer is no, but for different reasons.

A bit of a stretch, but is it your spouse's younger brother, who is an orphan, and under 18 or disabled, and is a dependent of your spouse?

Yes, I am a still a valid Permanent resident of Canada. It's my younger brother.

Ok, can you please advise which form he should fill in on the IRCC website to file an application for immigration to Canada.

Thanks a million.

This is one form that must be filled out by both the sponsor and the principal applicant and signed by both. So ONE form, completed by both.

Are both of your parents deceased? Can you confirm you have no spouse / common law partner or children? Can you also confirm you have no family members in Canada (e.g. uncle, aunt)?

Since you have a spouse, you don't qualify to sponsor your brother (unless he is an orphan).

If he has qualifying education/skilled work experience, he can see if he can apply to immigrate on his own. The possible programs to immigrate are here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp

Also from your other posts you aren't even in Canada now and don't meet the RO. So if you can make it into Canada without being reported, it's then a 2 year wait before you'd qualify to sponsor your spouse. During this 2 year wait you can't leave Canada.

Hi! Im sponsoring my spouse. What im gonna do if i dont have a letter from my employer coz im not regular yet in my part time job? My employer said they cannot give me a letter for 3weeks until i become regular. Is it okay if im gonna make a letter for immigration explaining why i dont have a lettet ftom my employer for part time job? Or i really need to wait for it?
Thanks!
