Another question, is it possible to have an ITA from CIC even if you are already invited to apply for OINP just in case the cutoff reaches your score? Thanks
I think IELTS has to be valid until you put forth an application after you get the ITA. It does not matter if your IELTS is expired during the application processing stage.AirCanada21 said:Hi,
If you have submitted your application to CIC before IELTS expires, will that be good?
Or your Ielts should be valid until visa is given? Thanks in advance!
Yes, you will get ITA directly from CIC if the draw cut-off scores reaches or goes below your score while your Nomination application is being processed by OINP.AirCanada21 said:Another question, is it possible to have an ITA from CIC even if you are already invited to apply for OINP just in case the cutoff reaches your score? If you had read one line in the same page, you would hv noticed the following:mrinal3757 said:Hi All,
I have a question with respect to Police certificates (police checks). CIC mentions You may need a criminal and security check (police certificate) if you are coming to Canada as a:
live-in caregiver,
tourist,
student or
temporary worker.
I'm applying under FSWP NOC 2173. Would I also need to get a Police check certificate?
Thanks in advance

I do not believe that scores will come to level of 438 in the next 3 to 4 months. Going by the past trend, CIC is not in a hurry to bring down the cut-off. For sure the scores will come down to the level you mentioned, but you'll have to wait longer.AirCanada21 said:Thanks for your reply rajanvnv!
Is there any chance that CRS cutoff will go down to 438 in the next few months in your opinion?
If you get an ITA and you submit your application before your marriage, they'll consider your current score of 460 and process your application. After starting the appln processing, once you get married, you can submit a CSE and notify CIC abt this and they will not re-calculate your score after submission of application.Vaidyy said:Hello,
Thanks all for maintaining this forum lively. Please clarify on my below questions.
1. I have worked in canada for more than 1yr, have good CELPIP scores and WES letter ready.
2. My points accumulates to around 460 for EEC.
But,
I am planning to get married in less than 6months If i am updating the profile now, and in between If I add my spouse will my points be affected in the EEC pool as the profile for married have different calculation logic, lesser point weightage.
Thinking about this I did not update my profile yet.
Or if I apply and get my invite and also wait for all process to completed, and after getting PR if I sponsor for my wife, how much time will it take. With my current situation how shall i proceed further. Pls advise.
No I haven't tried that yet. I'll try doing it, thanks a lot!rajkamalmohanram said:OMG 449. ..
Did you try re-submitting your EE application? This has helped a lot of people including me. I received Ontario PT after re-submitting it for the third time.
1) You can apply anytime but before you do, please check if you are eligible under one of the economic immigration programs. (FSW, FST or CEC).Ronnie S. said:Dear All Members,
My wife and I are eligible as per the quiz I did on CIC. I merely wanted to know that is there either the best time to make entry into the pool or can participate anytime throughout:-\ the year?
Besides, should any most promising province to choose while applying into the pool.?
I would admire and welcome your wise suggestions.
Thank you in advance for your time.
