I have searched all over the board, but found nothing! Apparently not many people have this question… I hope someone can help me.

Suppose I am allowed to make my landing next year up to November, since I got my medicals done now and they are valid for 12 months. Nevertheless, I cannot move permanently before December-16, since I have to get some things done in my old country first. No problem, since I can get my landing, stay for a week and return to my old country, get things done and move back permanently in December.

Now this is where it gets complicated: a newborn should be expected around august/september 2016.

Options as I see them:
A) Make the landing before the baby is born, in june or july. The problem is the baby would be born outside Canada and when I finally moved in December he would have no document! What to do?
B) Make the landing in November, with the baby. The problem is how will I inform CIC about the newborn, after they already gave me all documents for my wife and I to do the landing? Is it easy to add the newborn to our file after I got the authorization to land but before actual landing?
C) Make the landing pregnant in September, give birth there and come back to home country. And then finally move permanently in December. Crazy timing here! Very risky

Are my interpretations of the options correct? Or is there an easier way? Or another option? Which option is less risky?

Hi,

I have a question and need your opinion on it. I am currently temporary resident (Post Graduate Work Permit) of Quebec (Montreal) and got the PNP from Ontario and 600 points are added in my profile. I informed them during my application that I have intention to reside into Ontario. I am currently doing job in Montreal. I am living here with my wife and 2 kids. I have Quebec Driving License and Medicare Card.

My question is that when I will get ITA in few days and filling my application will I still show my Montreal address or I move to Ontario and use that address. How you see all this and any suggestion.

If you have any questions please ask me so I can clear the situation to you.

You can use your current address. You do not have to move to Ontario solely for this purpose.

Thanks for this. So they will not put any objection on this and no point of rejection due to this.

Re: Express Entry Province nominee program

Hello people,

Need your help/advice/suggestion.

I am already in express entry pool if I am applying for PNP and got accept from the province like Saskatchewan. If I want to leave in different province is it possible? Please guide me in this.

These instruction will be helpful not just to me but many aspirants who are seeking a lucid understanding of the process.

Thank you all for your time. :)

Hi Guys,

Greetings to all !!!

I have completed my education credential check through WES. Got my IELTS scores (over All 7) and ready to file my application for the Express Entry. And i am doing it through a consultancy. I need few clarifications for which even the consultancy guys are not clearly explaining me. I need your wise advise and suggestion on this.

I am married and i need to know is that best to apply for the PR with spouse accompanying me?

with CRS Calculator link i get 362 points if i select without accompanying spouse but i get only 359 points with accompanying spouce.

Is spouse accompanying me is an advantage for now or a disadvantage?

The consultancy guys are telling me to apply with spouse accompanying and will have more advantage but i see the CRS scores reduce by 3 points.

the consultancy guy says initially we can apply without spouce accompanying and later in can be changed to spouce accompanying before receiving the invite ( He says my profile can be edited after entering the pool).

My Spouse has taken up IELTS but not done the ECA through (WES). I want to know the best possible option.

Please suggest should i apply without accompanying spouse is best option or accompanying spouse is the best way.

If you apply without spouse now and then add her later your points will automatically drop. So adding later doesn't give any benefits. Wrt larger question of applying without spouse at all, I would advise against it for the following reasons. a) You will have to justify to CIC why your spouse won't be joining you now (obviously you can't say that you are single, since that would be misrepresentation) b) Getting a PR sponsored for your wife later is a big hassle from what I have read in this forum and elsewhere. It takes anywhere upto 2 years. c) Your points drop is not much. As it is it looks like below 400 ITAs are going to take atleast 6 months to a year more, if they do drop to that level.

You must intend to stay and establish yourself in the province that nominated you. The province is giving you nomination so that you can be a part of their labor market, not to move to some other province of your choice.

There is no legal hold on this as the Charter of Rights and Freedoms (Mobility rights section) allows any Canadian PR to move and settle down anywhere in Canada. But, IMO, it would be morally incorrect to just ditch the province that gave you 600 points and helped you get an ITA and eventually a visa.

I suggest you try your best and put in your sincerest and genuine efforts to establish yourself in the province that nominated you. In spite of your total effort, if you are not able to establish yourself/become successful, only then, IMO, you should consider moving to other provinces.

This is only my opinion.

Yes. You should have worked for 40 hours a week atleast for it to be counted as full time experience. I have read elsewhere in this forum that if you work for less than that then it is calculated pro rata. For eg 1 yr part time work (say 20 hours) will be counted as 6 months full time.

Do you have valid IELTS scores and a valid ECA (for education outside Canada)? You will need these two before you can create an EE profile.

Thank You very much Cyronn,

i need few more clarification

1. My wife is expecting now so is it advisable to apply with spouce accompanying now? Will i have to apply for my baby once we get our baby? Is that a easy process or should i go with applying individually and then after having our baby could i add my spouse and child accompanying me?

2. Consultancy guys say that applying with spouse accompanying is always advantageous but they are unable to explain me the advantages. for me it only look like reducing my points

3. if i apply along with my spouse, once we get the Visa is it possible for me to go there first and then take my wife after 1 or 2 years or do we have any time frame.?

4. Is it possible to add my spouse and child later after i enter the pool?

Please clarify...

You can apply now. Applying for spouse later through spousal sponsorship is a very very lengthy process. I suggest you to add your spouse as accompanying.

Baby is not an issue. After the baby is born, you can inform the VO. They will ask you to go for a medical test for the baby and that is it; S/He can be added to the application.

2. Consultancy guys say that applying with spouse accompanying is always advantageous but they are unable to explain me the advantages. for me it only look like reducing my points

He might have said that because the spousal sponsorship is a very lengthy process as I said before. It is better to have a accompanying spouse.

3. if i apply along with my spouse, once we get the Visa is it possible for me to go there first and then take my wife after 1 or 2 years or do we have any time frame.?

:) . No. Not 1 to 2 years. Either you can land together or you can land first and your wife can land later but she has to land before her medical expires OR before her current passport expires, whichever comes first. You must be physically present in Canada for at least 2.5 years out of any 5 year period to retain your PR status. If you miss this, you might lose your PR status, so remember. Long absences from Canada are not recommended until you get your citizenship.

4. Is it possible to add my spouse and child later after i enter the pool?

You can add your spouse details when you create your profile. The baby can be added to the application later.

Please clarify...
