I recently had my medical test done so I can answer this....

First thing they did was an eyesight test, standard optician letter board.

They then took my weight and height measurements

I was then seen by the doctor.....

She then asked for my medical history, but was only concerned with on going treatments and history less than 5 years old.

She then took my blood pressure

and finally asked me to do some simple stretches.... bend over, walk heel to toe, stand on one leg etc etc

You then have to go and get a chest x-ray (looking for TB, $50) and give some blood samples (looking for Syphillis and HIV, $90)

That's how my medical was carried out.

The immigration doctor I saw was very helpful and offered some great advice, because my blood pressure read high (was a little stressed out), she told me to go and see my family doctor and get it re-measured and for him to send her a fax/letter stating it was OK

Hope that helps

Hi guys ,

I am very new to this forum and I need your help.

My CSR score is 371 and I understand it's very low score . I wanted to try some PNP but I don't which one I should choose for my career. I am software engineer working in IT and I have 8 years of experience.

Seniors/Experts,

Please guide me which PNP I should choose. Thanks in advance for your help.
Firstly, you need to find your NOC.
Then read through the first post in this thread: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/summary-of-eligibility-requirements-for-all-express-entry-pnp-streams-t432937.0.html

If you don't find your NOC, then it isn't in-demand anywhere, and you can try applying to any of the other provinces you're eligible for.

Dear Team,

This is in regards to a query about the WES Report.

As per the ECA report, my Bachelor of Engineering degree is equivalent to Bachelor''s degree (four years) in Canada and my Postgraduate Certificate Programme in Management (1 year) from Indian Institute of Management was given a CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY as Completion of an executive management program offered by a graduate school of business.

What option to select from the below Canadian Equivalency list while filling my Express Entry application for my Postgraduate Certificate Programme in Management.
• None, or less than secondary (high school)
• Secondary diploma (high school graduation)
• One-year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute
• Two-year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute
• Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years
• Master’s degree, or professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession
• Doctoral level university degree (PhD) Awaiting for your quick response.
If you're claiming points for "Two or more..." you need to select "Two or more..." for both degrees.

5) When you have those in hand you create your express entry profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng
Registering with the job bank here means, to create a profile like any other job portal? How does this get associated with my EE profile meaning do I get some sort of a reference number to provide to Canadian Immigration assuming that I get invited to apply for EE? From what I see in the EE profile there's no place where it asks for job bank profile to be associated to it.
Also, I have created an EE profile but have not submitted it yet, can I create a profile at the job bank?

Its a must to register with Job Bank. Once you will submit your EE profile, you will receive a PDF file which will contain a Job Bank Code, While registering for Job Bank you will be asked for that Code.
Without successful job bank registration your EE profile will not be activated.

you will need to do your own research regarding PNP... shouldnt take more than a day or two
i would suggest you write ielts again and improve scores, if you are below 32 you can easily get 420+ points (if you only have bachelors, masters adds 40 points)

Hellow everyone,\

I have a quick question, i have maintained minimum account balance as per CIC requirements from last one year, that account is in Pakistan which is 16,000 dollars for PA & Spouse. currently, i am living in UAE, here bank has offered me interest free credit card loan about 3,450 Dollars and they transferred money in my account that is also untouched so far.. but now, i need some money can i use this 3,450 amount (it will be paid back in 6 months installments)? If i will be invited by EE and CIC will ask me for last 6 or one year bank statement (which i already have in my pakistani account) will this make any difference? because what my view is if i take out this (3450) money then CIC will consider it as a loan and my bank account will be deemed as 16000-3450-- 9150 Cad Dollars....

Please correct me if I am wrong.

No, not at all. Relax. If you have enough funds in your account, you are good to go! Wish you good luck and all the very best!

I assume we only have to get our educational credentials evaluated from WES and there is no such requirement for work experience? For work experience, is it sufficient if I attach my employer letters substantiating the same?

Regarding the The processing fee for you and your family members, I see one has to pay $550 for primary applicant and accompanying spouse. What about accompanying kids(less than 1 year old)?

For The Right of Permanent Residence fee, its clearly mentioned fee is $490.00 per person and there is no fee for dependent children.

Adult applicants have to pay 1040 CAD each (550 CAD processing fee + 490 CAD RPRF). For children, the processing fee is CAD 150. There is no RPRF for children. So for a family of 3 people (2 adults and one child), the fee would be 1040 + 1040 + 150 = 2230 CAD.

Good luck and all the very best!

Yes, you can provide a reference letter and any supporting documentation that you might have to prove your work experience.

Proof of work experience
Purpose

To prove each work experience claim and to validate that the applicant meets program requirements
Document requirements

The personalized document checklist in MyCIC prompts the applicant with an upload field for each work experience declared.
At the completeness check, the processing office determines only whether the required documents are included. The validity or fraudulence of the information is assessed only if and when the application is placed into processing.

The following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared:

a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits; and
if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience).

If the work experience is in Canada, proof may include copies of T4 tax information slips and notices of assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency (the time period for these documents should reflect the work experience timeframe [e.g., work experience from 2006 to 2008 requires only documents from those calendar years]).
