Is your CRS 476, or do you mean below 475 ?
Either way, good luck.
Just that if it is below 475, that will be a blunder for me. Mine is 475. I don't think I will be considered in this draw as mentioned above - EE profile was created yesterday.

2 quick questions:
Is there an upper limit to the amount of funds you can bring with you when you land ? And is this money taxed ?

Q: How much money should you bring?
It is a good idea to research how much it costs to live in the place where you plan to settle in Canada.

Bring as much money as you can to make moving and finding a home in Canada easier. Note, however, that Canadian customs regulations require you to declare if you are bringing more than CAN$10,000 into Canada. If you do not tell them, you may be fined, and your funds could be seized. These funds could be in the form of:

cash,
documents that show property or capital payable to you (such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.), or
documents that guarantee payment of a set amount of money, which are payable to you (such as bankers’ drafts, cheques, travellers’ cheques or money orders).

Not sure about taxation!! I don't think the sum you bring in would be taxable.

Ontario requires your CRS to be over 400. As far as I know, none of the other provinces has a minimum CRS.

Yes.

No one knows when PNPs will open again.
To know the criteria, you need to visit the website of each province, and read what they have to say about eligibility. Start here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-who.asp

Kindly help me .. Thanks in advance

There is no upper limit to bring funds into Canada, there's just a formality of declaration to be done about the source of fund and the amount if it exceeds $10000 - CAD

Moreover, No it cannot be taxed in Canada, as the amount falls under remittance category and not earned in Canada, unless ofcourse it is earned in Canada and no tax has been paid so far on it already.

Cheers,

I teach Tax and International taxation and Foreign Exchange, I am pretty sure about my information. You can rely on it.

A quick addendum to this, apparently Ontario PNPs are closed for the rest of the year.
I'm still not sure about any of the others, but maybe someone else knows ?

Looking at the current CRS draws, I'm looking into PNP options.
I have very little about PNP process. Can someone throw some light on this?

1. Is it like creating separate profiles for multiple PNPs?
2. How much cost it would incur to apply for PNP?
3. Basically how to apply for PNP?
4. Pros and Cons of getting PR through PNP?

Thanks.

Does anyone of you have gone through applying for the Express Entry WHILE residing in Canada? It would be awesome to hear your experience and know step-by-step guidelines on how to apply for the EE WITHIN Canada. I am an international student who is recently graduated from a graduate program in Canada, and I have a valid open PGWP. As far as I understood there are different types of programs that you can apply for the EE, but I do not have a Canadian work experience yet as I recently graduated and currently looking for a job. Thanks.
