I have a Master's and my wife has 2 or more Certificates. My wife has worked in the US for a year while I have only worked in India. Who should be the primary applicant?

Welcome to the forum. You need to calculate your scores for both options first, using actual or predicted IELTS scores. Whoever gives you the most points should be the principle applicant. Use the link below:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

If your scores are pretty much the same, other things to consider are things like who can easily get documents such as work reference letters.

All the best.

Hi Guys,

I have a quick question.

I worked for a company from june2015-march2016 and started work with another company march 2016 till present, same job duties Administration.

for my express entry I put that I have one year Canadian express but its two differently companies. Is it going to affect me when I put in my application? I got my ITA already. Should I wait till March before I put in my PR application?

PS: I have other experience in retail but I guess those don't count.

Just completed medicals and I see IME: Non EDE and upfront medical type :Worker for me and my spouse.
Is this correct?

Fyi, I got ITA under CEC class and my spouse doesn't work.

Hi Everyone,

It's fantastic to know how everyone helps the other with information, great work guys. I've been following EE from Jan'16 and got so interested after a month that i realised that i want to start fresh in Canada. I've started to prepare for the groundwork i.e. getting reference letters, learning the process....etc I have a question for anyone to help.
1. I've been a Communication Trainer in a call centre
2. From 2012-Nov'2015 i've been an employed trainer for the same company
3 Jan 2016 i started to work on contracts as a Trainer again.
4 Sep 2016 (until Current) i jumped from the call centre to mainstream corporate as a Learning Coordinator for a Management Institute (Online Education).

Guys what should be my NOC?

Also, from my work, do i have a good chance.... :)

-Cheers,

Noel

ECA- with whom? WES?

If it's WES you should have your ECA report by now...

Hi seniors, Raj , Sushsmart

Am submitting my documents post ITA in few weeks. Had a query.

1) Change in employer after E-APR / AOR and before PPR

i got ITA on 8th feb and planning to submit all documents by 31st March 2017. assuming AOR / e-APR date as april 2nd 2017.

If i change my job and switch to a new company say in the month of July 2017 - august 2017 while the PR processing is still in process.

is it ok ??. do i need to inform CIC as the PPR request would be round about same month say 4-5 months after AOR.. possibly august september 2017.

if i have to inform CIC how to do as EE profile will be freezed.

is it ok if i dont inform CIC about the employer change as NOC will be same.

2) address history : i have stayed in multiple cities in india while doing by education and employment say .. bangalore, pune,

permanent addess is mumbai where am working currently.. i have applied for PCC from PSK mumbai office.

what to do now.. as i dont remeber most of the address of bangalore and pune..

can somebody guide me. is it ok if i just mention Mumbai address.

or i have to mention bangalore, pune, mumbai...

Thanks for your answers in anticipation

Below is the reply as per my knowledge, others may pls correct if anything is incorrect, newbie here.

1. Get the reply from Infy's HR in email as official correspondence.
2. Try getting the reference letter (notarized) from some colleague currently working there with a copy of visiting card.

Mostly, with above 2 docs IRCC would be convinced. I know a friend of mine who got SINP invitation in similar way.

Best of luck!

Hi seniors, infocions

I am facing a serious problem. I worked in two organizations. My current employee has give me a detailed experience letter. I worked with Infosys earlier. I tried to contact my supervisors there but all of them have left the organization. I called an HR person and told him my situation and he promptly replied that we do not give such letters.

What am I supposed to do. I read in one of the post that I can ask my ex-collegue to sign and get it notarized. Am jus little scared because I do not want to loose this opportunity. Will this solution be OK or do I need to do something else.

Anybody else is facing such issue??

Need help.
Thanks in advance

Hello Guys,

I'm paper based pnp applicant (AINP Inland nominated). I'd linked this application to myCIC account. Now, I'm also eligible for express entry. My questions are-
1. Can i apply express entry as I've already paper based pnp application in process?
2. As i tried to make EE profile, I can't find 'Express Entry' under 'What would you like to do today?' in myCIC account. What is the solution?

Please help me. Thank you everyone.

Hi,

I just have a quick question about the employment requirement of having either a university degree, professional training etc, set out for each NOC. So, in my employment letter stating the years I have worked and my responsibilities, should it also mention that I have met the employment requirement of the job in a specific way or being employed itself shows that I have met the minimum requirements?

Thanks so much for your help.

Hi,

I have received invitation to apply. I am confused on questions related to Previous Immigration application.

I was refused application before for misrepresentation. There are two questions which relate to this. I am not sure if I should answer Yes to both of them and what is the difference. Also what details should I provide

1. Has xxxx xxxxx been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country? Yes/No

2. Has xxxx xxxxx ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?:

Please help.
