Hello Guys,

lets suppose My home country is A and country of residence is B. I have lived in country B since 2014 but in between I went to home country A for a year and worked there. So in travel history how do i mention that?

For example
2014-10-01 to 2015-06-01 Country B
2015-06-01 to 2016-06-01 Country A
2016-06-01 onward Country B

Am I correct? Or as i read somewhere i dont need to mention travel between country of birth and residence?

I am confused so please someone can help.
With loads of regards
Hi,

Travel between your home county and another country is always a return trip, unless there are trips to other countries in between. In your case there are non, therefore it would be as follows:

2014-10-01 to 2015-06-01 Country B
2016-06-01 onward Country B

I hope this help.

All the best

Help! Regarding my travel dates. I am confused which dates should I put because I stayed in Canada from Sept 3 to Oct 10 but I arrived in the Philippines Oct 12. Should I follow the arrival stamp on my passport (Oct 12) or should I use the exact date (Oct 10) I left Canada?
Hi, put the date you left Canada (Oct 10).

All the best

Just two questions from no where...

Who decides visa office? I am in South Africa but I 'm Indian. So will it be Johannesburg or Mumbai/New Delhi?

Where can I do my medicals? Country of residence or Country of origin or doesn't matter?

LVO will is the nearest visa office to where you're residing NOW. If you live in South Africa I believe it will be in Pretoria (the only VO in SA).

HEre is the update from OINP

February 21, 2017

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Re: International Masters and PhD Graduate Streams and Human Capital Priorities Stream now open

The OINP is now accepting 2017 applications for the International Masters Graduate Stream and International PhD Graduate Stream.

The OINP is also reopening the Ontario Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream. The OINP is now identifying qualified applicants from the federal government’s Express Entry pool and will issue Notifications of Interest to applicants that meet the criteria.

The OINP has also launched online application systems for these streams to improve customer service, help improve processing times and make it easier to apply

To ensure processing efficiency and quality customer service, the OINP will be monitoring the volume of applications to each of these streams. These streams will be paused and reopened periodically throughout the year until the province’s 2017 federal allocation is fulfilled. Stakeholders will be informed when streams are temporarily paused and reopened again via this OINP Updates page.

Please refer to the application guides for further details on applying to each of these streams: International Masters Graduate Stream; International PhD Graduate Stream; and Ontario Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream.

New for the International Masters Graduate Stream
Changes have been made to the International Masters Graduate Stream. Applicants can now apply if they are residing in Ontario or abroad, and have the option of obtaining their language test through an alternate service provider.

The OINP is committed to improving its client experience and online application systems. For example, the OINP is reviewing its employer-driven streams to better respond to employer needs, and help improve processing times. Online application systems are also being developed over the coming months for the employer-driven streams, and will be in place as these streams reopen.

Questions?

Please monitor this OINP Updates page for news, announcements and program developments.

No one knows how ONIP gives nominations, but its a draw. This time you have a very good chance of getting ONIP. Seeing the time lines ... they might target 420 - 435 if they release the nominations before march 8th draw.

Best of luck mate

There is a very good chance of getting a ONIP for you this time as no one is in the pool with more than 446 points except the few profiles created after 8th February. If ONIP nominates before 8th March or max by 15th march they should target 420 - 435 logically. Might even go for lower scores.

Best of luck maam

Hi Everyone,

It's fantastic to know how everyone helps the other with information, great work guys. I've been following EE from Jan'16 and got so interested after a month that i realised that i want to start fresh in Canada. I've started to prepare for the groundwork i.e. getting reference letters, learning the process....etc I have a question for anyone to help.
1. I've been a Communication Trainer in a call centre
2. From 2012-Nov'2015 i've been an employed trainer for the same company
3 Jan 2016 i started to work on contracts as a Trainer again.
4 Sep 2016 (until Current) i jumped from the call centre to mainstream corporate as a Learning Coordinator for a Management Institute (Online Education).

Guys what should be my NOC?

Also, from my work description, do i have a chance....

-Cheers,

Noel

Do i get points for mentioned relative ?

A question on work experience points in OINP

Hi all,

I would be really grateful if you could help me with this. The OINP guide says that you have to have a minimum of one year experience in last five years. OINP conditions are as follows:

Work Experience
- at least one year (1,560 hours total) of continuous full-time (minimum of
30 hours/week for 12 months) or an equal amount in continuous part-time
(minimum of 15 hours/week for 24 months or 30 hours/week for 1
- within the last five years from the date of the Notification of Interest
from Ontario.

Points are awarded as follows:
Experience Maximum Points
1 year (minimum of 12 months) 9 points
2 to 3 years (24 to 36 months) 11 points
4 to 5 years (48 to 60 months) 13 points
6 or more years (72 months or more) 15 points

My situation:
I have a total experience of seven years in my last two jobs.
Current job:
Starting date: June 04, 2012 - Total countable complete years - 04 years
Last job:
Starting date: April 01, 2008- Date of leaving - October 31, 2011 - Total countable complete years - 03 years

I have an unemployment period of eight months between these two jobs.

Now my question is that am I eligible to claim work experience points for six years as stated above which are 15 points?

Thank you!

Hi, having a close relative contributed to the initial 67 points but doesnt give you any CRS points.

All the best
