Canada's immigration needs are too high to have a train of thought such as yours. BTW, what is your status? Are you a PR? A citizen?
Actually, I did not start applying yet. I am trying to understand the application process (what documents are required, what are the steps you have to take etc.) before applying. But I do not dare to apply for a visa if I do not get a job in advance. It is important for me to organize and finalize everything before leaving my secure surroundings (family, job, friends).

Your concern is understandable, but from what people have mentioned in the past here, it is unlikely that someone gets a job by not being physically present in Canada. May be you could get your PR first with the existing rules, and then try your luck with the job market post landing either by being here or not being here. Or you can move first and then have the family move once you get the job.. it might just take few weeks to months. I believe that's what many people do.

Exactly... Apply, get a PR and then look for a job, only MOVE once you find a job! If you try to get a job before you have a PR you'll need LMIA which is a real pain and hard to get!

Short Story:
So, I think you should go ahead with WES assessment.

Getting your transcripts: Contact your university, and ask them for your transcripts. They should be able to provide you with it (most universities charge a nominal fee for this service).
Thanks for the research and reply.
Will contact the University for transcripts and give the ECA a shot. :)

hello friends/Raj/Stanlee/Istari,

I would like to receive some advice on the below scenarios.

1) My wife and I, both of us did our masters degree in Canada. So we both separately received Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP).
2) I have PGWP valid till 02-May-2018 and my wife has PGWP valid till 5-Jan-2017.

I received my ITA July-2016. I submitted my e-APR application and I received AOR on 11-Sep-2016 and medical passed 2-Oct-2016. I am the primary applicant and my wife is the accompanying applicant.

If incase CIC process goes beyond Jan-2017, what should I do for my wife's status and which of the below scenario is applicable for my wife's situation:

1) Is the accompanying applicant eligible for BOWP?
2) If question1 is yes , the AOR which I received on 11-Sep-2016, is enough to apply for BOWP or not?
3) Based on my PGWP (valid May-2018), is it possible to apply for spouse open work permit?

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello everyone,

I have two Bachelors degrees, one from an Egyptian College and the other is from a University in the USA.
I obtained the American degree through a program that I enrolled in at my Egyptian college and after I finished, I now have two Bachelors degrees.

I had my ECA completed, and it states that I had Bachelor's degree from the American University and another Bachelor's degree from my Egyptian University with a remark saying that I "Enrolled in a program offered by multiple institutions".

After checking this post, things were clear and now I understand that I should choose "Two or more Certificates, Diplomas or Degrees" when filling out the forms in my profile:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/express-entry-in-a-nutshell-t394158.0.html;msg4938429#msg4938429

I have two questions:
1- Do I choose "Two or more Certificates, Diplomas or Degrees" in both degrees when filling the form, or do I select one of them and put that and the other just put Bachelor's?
2- The American degree, do I select Egypt as the country of study even if the University is actually American? or do I put the Country and City of that American University in the USA?

Thanks a lot

IMO, you can choose "Bachelors" for your Egyptian degree and "Two or more degrees...." for American degree.

IMO, you should select Egypt.

I believe you spouse will be eligible to apply for an Open Work Permit based on the PR application that you have submitted.

Good day house, a friend gave me this site to check that it would help me in my processing, well I just started the application sha. From Nigeria, Am a registered nurse midwife (diploma) so I got my credentials evaluation by WES Equivalent to three and one year hospital training and study for nursing and midwifery respectively but their remark was that the result isn't comparable to a completed Canadian eduction, so now am kinda confused cos the agent I wanted to work with before said it okay.

Anyone here with similar experience or who can be of help to me.

Thanks

If it says the credential is not comparable to a Canadian one, then you cannot claim points for that education credential. If that is your only post secondary education credential, then you are not eligible under EE. Try checking with other institutions that are authorized to evaluate education credentials. Hi Raj..

Can you help me with this question?

My transcripts have initials for my last name and they are expanded in my passport. It has been suggested to create the online application with passport name. My question is that would we need any proof (such as one and same person affidavit or passport copy) for the full name to be enclosed with the transcripts. Or WES will just put whatever name we give while creating the application in the brackets?

Thanks.
