Well, do careful research before you enroll for any program. The problem is once you attend a session, you may become ineligible to attend any other similar/better program.
There are 100's of companies running these programs and some of them are only interested to get your COPR info without really helping the immigrants. Some will just show you pre-recorded youtube type videos and say Good Bye. With our UCI/COPR info, these companies bill Canadian government, some as high as $2500 per person ..... so it's a very lucrative business.
Pre-Arrival/Post-Arrival, all these so called "settlement agencies" will chase you like anything for your COPR info so just be watchful

I agree to this. This is online prog. Whereas there are many prog run all over the country with a full day sessions.
So as you said we can enroll in only one prog.we must do a thorough research before joining..there is ample of time and i think these sessions must be attended post PPR
Yes, correct. However, the PrepCan session was very useful. It was not a generic session. It was very personalized - I had a chance to voice my concerns and ask questions very specific to my area of education and work. I was also able to describe my expectations when I land in Canada. The mentor told me she'll be happy to go for another session with me sometime in the near future. The session was worthwhile, otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it.
I registered for CIIP first with my UCI and my application was approved. I am not able to travel to nearby cities at the moment so I chose an online session from PrepCan. I did not have any trouble registering for PrepCan (even though my UCI was submitted to and validated by CIIP first).
I suppose I might be able to attend the CIIP session as well. Neither of these ask for COPR/details from COPR. I was able to register and attend only with my UCI.
When this session has to be attended is a personal preference. These sessions include some things that you might need some time to perfect - draft an expert resume, make modifications to your Linkedin profile, get recommendations etc so if you are doing this post PPR, you *might* miss out on some of the "to-do" tasks.
