All silent on the PR front, but it's good to see NDVO is still churning through the applications. Let's hope for some movement for December AOR folks soon!

Hi All,

Good luck to all forum members!!!
PPR received

FSW-O

Medical Passed- Feb 8th 2017
BG-IP- Feb 15th 2017

ONIP would mean you are PNP-O and not FSW-O. Still, amazing news and all the best.

The good news is here Smiley

Finally got the PPR email. Cant express my gratitude to each one of the forum members here. You guys are true support.

Congratulations to all those who also got their PPRs and wish a quick visa approval for the remaining forum members.

One question: I am the primary applicant accompanied by my wife and our child. Do we all need to be physically present at the VFS while submitting passports or can I do it on their behalf?

Thanks!

As for your question - my husband (he is PA) went to VFS alone, without me. They gave him a special form for me, I filled it at home, and he brought it when he went to collect COPRs and passports. Everything was fine :)

Hi,

I just got this email, today morning:

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us immediately by email to: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with details concerning your situation.

I suppose this is the PPR email, as they have asked for passport, but the background status is still IP, and final decision NS. Please advsie

AOR - 15 Dec 2016
Medicals Passed - 3rd Feb
Document Request - 3rd Feb
Doc provided - 6th Feb
Bkgd check - NS -. NN 6th Feb
Email received - 28 Feb 2017
Bkgd status - IP
Final decision - Not started
