Seniors please help

Below is my timeline

EE Profile Created: 5th December, 2015
AOR Received: 8th July, 2016
ITA Received: November 2nd, 2016
File Submitted: 18th December, 2016 (As I went to India)

Since then I haven''t heard anything, not even Medical Passed. My friend received ITA January this year and he submitted file after me he got his medical statu updated.

I wonder why I need to wait so long. Please suggest is this normal..?? Is there anyone with the same timeline..?

Waiting is so painful. Moreover my work permit is going to expire in June.

I have a question to all..

So i have been india for last few weeks havent updated my location with cic.. my VO is ottawa presently.. i am cec inland..
M waiting for bc to change from IP to NN.. and expecting PPR soon.
If they ask to send passport request i will be informing them that i am in india.. will that be ok?
I dont want to inform them that i am in india till i get my PPR request..

Please suggest

I see on tracker that your medical status is not passed yet. Is it right? My AOR date is Dec10 and my visa office is Ottawa. I have not updates except e-APR-AOR on dec 10.
Which is your VO?

My medical is passed, it was done in early Feb (8 or 10 Feb) I guess, BG in progress couple of days after. I don't know what my visa office is, there's a way to check?

Hi,

As per the following link you can only apply for BOWP if you are on a work permit that is due to expire within four months

However, I have been coming across posts on canadavisa that people are applying for this straight after filling PR application to ensure completeness check and their application is okay!? Should I go ahead anyways and apply for this even if I have more than 4 months of validity on my PGWP?

when you get to CA, apply for PR card and go back home.

even though your travel is already on record with cic (its from Canada).
you still still dont need to update cic fror any visits u made to your home country (india i supposed).
so no worries .
In case if they ask you for additional by Schedule A doc. then you have to update them .

you can apply for GCMS notes . its gonna take 30 days to respond back.

I am eAOR 09 Dec 2016 FSW Inland, no Update till now just same as shown below.

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Not needed at this time
Review of submitted documents
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not needed at this time
Final decision Not Started

Today also called CIC, call centre agent told me that file is not even opened yet, i dont know why these guys are so slow..

Lol, not worried a lot but just curious if everything is okay my application since there have been many applicants with AOR date later than mine, and are getting PPR or have had second BG IP change

I'll wait few days and then apply for GCMS if I am not able to calm my nerves any further lol.

Does anyone have an idea how many days usually cic takes to issue PPR email after BOWP issuance ?

my "bk gnd chk" last changes on feb 23rd with my Bowp issued the following date . since then i haven't received any response or email from CIC on PR app.

I also got my golden PPR email at 11:05pm EST.

Medical Passed and IP (1) Feb 7
RCMP Requested Feb 17th
RCMP Submitted Feb 23rd
PPR 27th Feb

Were you required to submit RCMP or you just submitted as additional info. I was under the impression a PCC isn't required for inland applicants.

Do you have a choice which VO you want to deal with your application or is it mandatory that Ottawa handles all Inland applications?
