1. Answer YES so they will not charge you $5. (free of charge if you are requesting GCMS for your own)
2. I chose "Member of the public" and got my notes.

hi ciscotao thanks for reply. Free of charge I thought $5 charge doesn't matter for which one I apply. Yes it's for my self since I'm the applicant. Did you select YES also for yourself.

No problem. I did select "YES" for my own request since it is the fact and I would also wanted to save $5 bucks ;D

Hello guys, I am very happy and relieved to share with you the happy news! Me and my husband landed on September 5th on our way back from vacation in Mexico on Calgary airport. It took about 10 minutes, we were asked only 4 questions: Have you been convicted of any crime? Have you ever been deported from any country? Do you have any other dependants? and Are you married to someone else?
After that, the officer sent us to sit and few minutes later he asked us to sign both copies of COPR on 3 different spots. Then he said with this stamp in passport and COPR you can go get the new SIN and Alberta health because you are now permanent residents, congratulations.

I wanted to thank all of you guys on this forum - this community helped me a lot while going through this stressful process and I wish you all the best of luck in your process and happy future in Canada! God bless you guys!

Wait for 30 days and on the 31th days you will receive an email from "CIC ATIP Officer" with your GCMS notes as attachment.

They need to hold the notes for 30 days before sending it to you. Don't know why they do that.

Do anyone have a statistical comment about timing for Pure FSW outlanders? It is obvious that CEC and PNP are processed much quicker.

Hi guys ,

Any suggestions for me by experts.

Submitted Apr 10
Schedule A requested Aug 18
Submitted Aug 18
Decision made Aug 18

Hopefully you gonna receive a positive note shortly! I know the waiting is killing but you have waited for so long, so couple of more days wouldn't harm!

Hi Guys a quick question !

Any idea how many days it takes for document requested to go from provided to received in MyCIC?

I submitted my RCMP a week back , my cic still reads provided!

I haven't seen that status change to 'Received'. I have seen people with PPR having the status just as 'Provided'.

It never goes to received.... it will always be provided even after the case is approved!

Hello All,

I had requested GCMS on 9th August, and have not received any update or email yet. It usually comes on the 30th day. Any experience with similar scenario ? :(

Have you received an automated confirmation right after you submitted your GCMS request?

If yes, give it a day or two and see how it goes. If not, there is a chance that you request did not go through.
