Most ppl who go background check is under CEC category??
Any idea?

Im FSTP and my background check changed 2 days after i submitted my application.

Hi nata,

It's good for you that they start to check your background so fast.
But I just didn't hear any background check updates from FSWs ....
And for some potential candidates they have options to choice CEC or FSW.
They could make a decision to choose a faster route...

Sometimes i think cic do their decisions randomly haha...i really dont think that will be any difference in the processing times of all the categories...i think in the end everybody will get in 6 months or less.

About the 13th I think. But then I was one of the ones who was mistakenly added as FSW.

Just joined the forum after reading through this thread, thought I'd chime in

I was picked up in first draw 31st January, score of 965, and submitted application on 9th February.

I received confirmation email on the 9th February, my status hasn't changed since, eligibility is "review in progress"

Will be interesting to see how fast this application will be turned around?

Did you see a separate field to upload PNP nomination certificate ? or its not a required document ?

I submitted my application on 5th March 2015 and today morning status of application changed to Eligibility status "Review - in Progress" and I got AOR with points 829 in total .

My current work permit expires on May 23rd 2015. so looking at this forums I came to know Inorder to file BOWP I need my Eligibility status "Passed".


I dont know how much time they take to change my status... Does any one have idea on this?

some of us submit docs around 1 month earlier than you and haven't passed the EOR.
you might wait till mid Apr. or early May.

Oh is it Im new to this forum .. So you did not receive AOR after you submitted your application.. that's strange
