I know this has been discussed but cannot find the post. When applying for bowp online do I say we are workers wanting to stay temporary - more than six months? Is there anybody who has applied for bowp online?

Our immigration consultant applied for our BOWP one day after submitting PR application. I am not sure how it works with AOR right now but she applied for us as we applied for PR on April 29 and our work permit was just about to expire (May 5th). We are on implied status right now, my understanding is that once you apply for PR, you can apply for BOWP once your current WP is close to expiration date.

applied BOWP online on March 9th and till now I didn't hear anything from CIC ...

Hi, I applied for my spousal WP on March 9th and received additional doc request like Open WP Holder Fee of $100 along with my Employment letter. I sent them yesterday itself via MYCIC. They woukd be processing your application anytime this week. So, do not worry.

So if Im right you would have send the paper based application and you missed 100 CAD -- Open WP Holder Fee isn't?

I submitted thru MYCIC but it only asked for $155 at that time, but now they requested to proceed further

I just receive my AOR!
My timeline.
28 march receive ITA
29 April medical exams
3 May medical exams send to CIC
6 May submit my application
After 5 min I received my AOR.

Congrats...Since the WPs will have the 3D hologram, it has to be printed on manually. Did you use the AoR from EE to get this BoWP? Or did you use other AOR?

I used AOR from EE

An update: I got a request for Schedule A, Background/Declaration form today. I have a question to those who received the same request earlier. Does the name in the request mean they only require the form from the mentioned person? I want to be sure it is my Schedule A they are requesting, not my spouse's.
