Finally an update!!
After 106 days with my BC in "NA", today it changed to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." :):)

Hi, all!!
The golden e-mail has arrived!! I just received PPR!!
So happy!! Thank you all for the support in this long journey!!!

Hi Guys, hope you all are doing well.
Is this thread only for people who already applied for EE and received an ITA?
I'm on the early stages still. Currently awaiting my IELTS results (tested jun 24th) and having my university documentation translated for the ECA. Does anyone know if a WhatsApp group for people who just started in the process exists?

Thanks!

This thread is for anyone, but many of the folks who were actively watching this thread have received their PPR and thus have become inactive. Feel free to post you questions here, but don't expect answers quickly...

For you I'd highly recommend these threads:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-im...d/threads/express-entry-in-a-nutshell.394158/
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-im...low-and-documents-to-arrange-post-ita.455826/

Both are excellent for people like you who are starting out! Just be sure to read the first post entirely before posting questions.

Regarding WhatApp group, we have one with the people on the table above... I don't think anyone is starting and there is a bunch who have just got PPR so they are chatting about housing and landing (which may make you even more anxious during your wait), but they are all willing to help so let me know if you want to join via PM.

Thanks for the reply and the links man! I've been reading about EE for about a year now but I'm always coming across new information. That first link has a great summary!
You're absolutely right about the anxious part! I think I'll at least wait for my profile submission before joining the group.

I do have a question about Proof of Funds. My ITA might come before I have the full amount required by CIC so my mother is willing to gift me part of the money in case I don't sell my car on time. I've seen people on the forum saying a Gift Deed can be provided with the Proof of Funds, stating the person making the donation won't be asking for the money back and that it was indeed a gift and not a loan. Do you know what would be the equivalent document for that in Brazil? Or can I just make a letter in english and notarize it with my mother's signature?

Thanks again.

Not sure about gift deeds... but my suggestion would be to draft a "Termo de Doação" similar to those you find on the threads aI pointed you but in Portuguese, get it signed and notarized and then translated.

Good afternoon, cambada!

Just giving a heads up, since I posted something so long ago, I´ve received my Ontario NOI last thursday, thanks to their HCP stream exception for IT-related occupations.

CRS 393, FSW OINP (PNP)

Stage: OINP NOI received.

I´ll have to spend extra cash with extra translations (pay slips, IRPF statements, work contracts), plus their not so light $1500, but I can´t simply let the opportunity go!

By the way, don´t know if anyone needed that, but I´ll have to complete my settlement funds (I was supposed to reach the amount by september/october, but I can´t wait) with a gift deed. From brazilians who have done that, did you use a Escritura de Doação de Bens (notarized brazilian deed) + certified translation or did you simply use a private gift deed with a notarized signature?

Good luck to all of us!

Five months to PPR... SPVO has been slow lately.

Seriously thinking about sending Civil Police PCCs along with the mandatory DPF PCC to save time when it´s my turn. My wife lived in four states in the last 10 years (RJ, CE, SE, DF), I´m afraid it´ll delay our process because of her history.

HI everyone!

jfa 22/06 FSW Ontario outland waiting desperately

cheers

OINP is calculating 60 to 90 days for processing. You are in the usual timeline. They're having a big intake, be patient.

PNP route is always longer.
