Keep positive everyone!

This is a new system that is working great at this moment....in a few years applicants might have to wait how I waited for 3 years to get to Canada. At that time this was fast ;D
I have friends who waited for 7 years to complete the process. But you are soooooo lucky! 8)

Don't worry, be happy!

And get prepared for Canada as your application process is a glimpse of the pace of how things are done here.( some things take longer than others and timing is very important) Get pre-arrival help funded by CIC to make sure you are prepared for your career and life in Canada. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/before-services.asp

or for a larger variety of information contact NextStopCanada.ca ( also in the list provided in the link above)

Wish you all the best! And hope to see you successful in Canada soon!

I can see there is no news this week right?

Has anybody tried to call CiC or SPVO?

No news.

Still waiting.

If we take a look at the people in the forum, we would have a better chance to hear some news in the end of the 7th month or in the 8th month. I remember a guy who made this statistic and the results were something like that.

Unfortunately all we can do is hope for the better.

I read that too... he mentioned that it would happen between months 7 - 9.

If an application went past 9 months, there might be a problem. His rational was something like that.

In my case, it took 2 months. I've seen some cases where it took 1 month only.

I appreciate your attention, your case is PNP paper based too? I received nomination from Saskatchewan Occupations in demand - without job offer. I send my paper based by mail to CIC and receive my AOR on September 30. Do you thing that my case is the same that you know ? Just more 1 month to receive Medical Request and probably 4 months to receive my PR ?

Thank you

Robson

In EE the medicals are taken before application, hence the "upfront" designation.

No, I am an express entry applicant.

No clue on how paper based applications work. Sorry mate :(

I am a PNP nominee from Ontario, everything went through Express Entry. From LoE to AOR.

7 months and 10 days of waiting.

I always thought provincial nominees would have their application fast tracked since they have already been 'pre-approved' by the province.

Yeah, I thought the same. But when you realize that, from all the people from this topic who have been waiting more than 6 months, I'm the only FSW and all the rest are PNP. So, I really can't understand why PNP is taking longer than FSW. Doesn't make any sense.
