Hi,
As the 23rd draw happened on 18th Dec 2015 and the Christmas holidays are following in the coming week, I think this would be the last draw of year 2015 with the new online system - Express Entry managing skilled immigration processing of Canada.

It can be anticipated from CIC that they will publish the Annual Report of Express Entry processing data for year 2015, as they had done it before in July-2015 with EE Mid-Year report 2015.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/reports/ee-midyear-2015.asp

It was really an eye-opener as some of the data published were very specific and gave a much clearer and transparent insight into the exact data of express entry pool.

However, I feel that still there is a need of few things that can be added into the next report CIC may publish, which is, Express Entry Annual Report 2015.

One such thing may be

  • the NOC-wise distribution of ITAs given
  • and NOC-wise actual CIC applications submitted against total number of ITAs sent

what do you think about it?

In CIC annual report, they may also include the month-wise CRS distribution of applicants for different range of CRS.. such as Jan to Dec for CRS 0-200, 201-249... and so on.

Great report. The govt. is being very transparent in this process and that is to be appreciated by everyone involved!

Just curious, what are the general reasons for Citizens from advanced countries like U.K, Ireland, Australia and U.S.A to want to move to Canada?

Better quality of life, joining spouse?

We're from the UK and my husband was offered an intra-company transfer so we accepted and moved out almost 4 years ago. He'd been travelling back & forth for 9 months and it was taking a toll on our family life so he asked his company to either move us all out or keep him in the UK - they needed him here so they made him an offer. We love it and can't imagine moving back.

Nice to hear that you guys like your new home:) I am sure life in Canada is quite different from the U.K even though the language is the same (well, almost).

Do you miss the ability to travel to so many countries near-by (from UK to Europe) via the incredible connectivity of trains or rather enjoy the extra space and gifts of nature that Canada has to offer?

Going back to the year-end report, I guess it is not surprising that Indians are on the top by citizenship. Apart from India, Philippines and China, the mix of countries in the top 10 has changed dramatically from 2014 to 2015 though.
