MINISTERIAL INSTRUCTIONS RESPECTING INVITATIONS TO APPLY FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE UNDER THE EXPRESS ENTRY SYSTEM (MAY 18, 2016)

Determination — number of invitations

1. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 10.2(1)(b) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the number of invitations that may be issued during the period beginning on May 18, 2016 and ending on May 19, 2016 is 763.

Required rank

(2) Foreign nationals who, on May 18, 2016 at 13:45:56 UTC, have been assigned a total of 484 points or more under the Comprehensive Ranking System that is set out in the Ministerial Instructions Respecting the Express Entry System, as published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on December 1, 2014 and as amended from time to time, occupy the rank required to be invited to make an application for permanent residence.

I think this draw again was dominated by CEC category. I don't see the scores being so high for outland FSW

There seem to be a general lack of interest here on this issue.
That is understandable cos the whole thing is looking funny these days. There is a lot of disappointment.
Typically, the forum would be buzzing with multiple posts about draw results and people screeming that they have not received ITA and asking whats next etc.
It is sad though. Perhaps worse cos its so unpredictable. All those permutations about scores coming down to 450 and below early in the year have evaporated.
We shall see what the next couple of months will bring.

And we need to stop that crazy trend. People keep asking the same questions over and over and over again. It's making the forum extremely disorganized and hard to find useful information, as we have to navigate through hundreds of similar threads with only one or two responses.

All they need to do is to read the freaking sticky posts where they can find ALL the information they need. In addition, some senior members also need to stop responding to those basic threads. I know some of them do love the sweet karma internet points, but they are indirectly making this forum worse for new members.

I got ITA today, but I am in a dilemma. The 600 points from my provincial nomination are not updated, still I got an ITA. Should I go ahead with this... Could you please clarify
