My profile looks like below.

1. I have 9 years experience.
2. Have worked from software developer to architect level.
3. Travelled all over Europe for 4.5 years.
4. Patent holder for inventions in my field.
5. Have 69 points from rating system for Canada.
6. Never changed company and working for Indian company.

Do I stand a chance in Express Entry , as I have only 69 points and no Canada work experience or Masters in Canada.?

I do not have a Canada job offer too.

I would fall under 2173 NOC

Thanks a lot EnthuChap. I am one of those Sep Applicants who could not make it in 2173 this time. So will have a go at EE.

Fortunately I have IELTS which I had in July 19th 2014 with 7 as average. I think I need to request one more copy from British Council as my current copy is with CIC.

WES I got an extra Copy so not a problem there.

WES I got an extra Copy so not a problem there.

If u couldn't make it due the Cap, u must receive your original package and thereby retrieve the IELTS TRF and therefore u won't have to request for additional TRF, I assume.

Unfortunate that u couldn't make the cut. EE presents u a very good chance. Register on it as soon as it launches, there's no cap in it. Also, u have ECA and necessary docs. Problem abolished!

So you mean we have to prepare "Skill Assessment" report? (as in Australia)

I know that professional years for IT-related careers will get deducted while being assessed in Australia (2 years maybe).
Does Canada have skill assessment organization?

Did any one get his application package back for NOC 2171, 2173 after CAP of 1000 application is reached. My application reached CIC on 18th September. When should I expect to receive my application back as I want to prepare for express entry 2015.

Good question.. But no one really can confirm that you are not in CAP... You are still in the game maybe slightly less chance but yes you are not out yet..

I have seen one application in forum from SEP 4 returned for 2173 but thats for incomplete application.

As obvious; her marital status in the passport is 'unmarried'; and on the other hand the candidate details form for IELTS registration ask for the 'Title' selection (as in; Miss, Mrs, etc.).

What should I do in this case ? Also, will the IELTS report generated in maiden name be accepted by CIC ?

Plz help, I dont want to miss out on early Feb. exam date.

Yes,it will be acceptable with the CIC .All the above issues are as simple as ABC that is the essence of your marriage certificate please.The marriage cert clears all the issues of maiden name and that is the reason it is a requirement for those filing as a family.

Plz help, I dont want to miss out on early Feb. exam date.

Hi all, I am new to this specific discussion. Unfortunately, I was one of those who are about to submit application under NOC 2171 but a day before I send my documents via DHL, I read a post that says this NOC has already reached his cap. I hope this means something better for me and my family when EE comes this Jan 2015.
