Hi, may I ask if you are applying/have applied as skilled workers?
In what area? I am a registered nurse and about to apply once I get all
my papers done. Do you think we Europeans get the application faster because
it goes throug h London..? :

I heard form an European friend that her application took only 4 months..

Hey buddy,

I hear LVO is very slow at the moment.
My application was received by CIC on 3/04/2012 got PER on
17/04/2012 and no more news since then.
Rumour is that they clearing 2010 backlog.

But who knows???

They closed few embassies across Europe (Belgrade .....) and now the remaining ones must deal with tourist visas from those, also some VOs are getting immigration cases from other VOs across the world to reduce backlog. This is what i have heard btw.

hi there,

a french customer where i'm working, has gotten his PR within 6 months, Paris VO. He was under a special program, can't remember which one, but he got his CSQ within 6weeks, and his PR 2 weeks ago. The whole thing started beginning December 2011 ! We shared our experience every day, but didn't expect it to be done THAT fast....

Amazing speeds! France-Quebec Coop! :_ I'm happy for him though.

Regarding Vienna - I assume that they have some organizing to do at the moment, therefore delays will be inevitable.
