I'm in New Zealand at the moment, moving back to Canada in november.
Will start my application then. Applying as a Skilled Worker.
Got a job offer and a visa for the next 12 months.

Judging by the poor perfomance at the Euro's, I can't be proud to be Dutch now haha

Yeah man,

Such a talent and not even a single win they should stop
Fighting among themselfs.

Good luck

its not the situation in europe which makes me "leave", its just the fact that i like canada, :) the nature, the mentality...
originally i wanted to go to australia...or New zealand, been there for a year...loved it, too....but it was just to expensive to immigrate....and well to far away...flight tickets ect

readya,

I agree with you the nature and Scenery is impressive.
My friend moved there in January and he's loving it.
I'll just hope my application will have smooth ride :-)

btw.. i don't know why everybody gets so crazy about the "situation" in europe....north america has its own issues to solve...shouldn't go so crazy about europe. :) i'm not going crazy about it. 8)

yeah, ...hope it will go smooth for me, too. i'm happy i applied in 2010 and i'm almost done...after what has changed in the last couple of months...ouuuff

I never considered Canada but the I fell in love with a Canadian man, we had a ldr for over a year, a lot travelling to Canada for me and for him to my country, then he wanted to sponsor me..we were very much in love, well..he got cold feet and meanwhile I fell in love with Canada too!
And I was thinking why not? As a reg. nurse I would earn better, have more people around me (we are so few here in Finland!). And the situation in Europe will not be better. I could actually get easier to Australia for work, since the registration for nurses is easier and there is a recruitment company who takes care of everything..but..Canada would be closer. Lets´s find and see if Canada wants me, a hard working and cleaver girl. :-* If not, well then I have to consider Australia and maybe Saudi-Arabia for one year at least.

Hey I'm sure they will take hard working girl like you.
But for whatever reason it won't work out please consider Australia
And not Saudi.
I worked in Qatar and there they treat women bad, Saudi is
even worse. Also at Sumer is boiling hot last time I was there it was 48C

Hi, may I ask if you are applying/have applied as skilled workers?
In what area? I am a registered nurse and about to apply once I get all
my papers done. Do you think we Europeans get the application faster because
it goes throug h London..? ::)

I heard form an European friend that her application took only 4 months..

I'm just wondering how your application was going? I'm a UK nurse and hoping to move to Canada in the next couple of years
