Good luck on you guys! WOW it seems like the Europeans are getting fast (er)?
May I ask you under what profession you were skilled upon? I am going to start the
process (finally) this autumn, I am collecting my papers. Have one more question, I have my
funds on my apartment, how will I prove that I will have the funds when applying? A note from the
bank or how because my money are in my condo and wont have them before I am actually moving out and selling
my home.

hi Scandinavian,

i applied as a Pastry Chef in November 2010, almost done....zoom zoom zoom..

As for the funds, you need to go to your bank as ask for a "proof of funds" at the counter, they'll give you a sheet especially for that.
A normal bank statement is not valid.

hope it helps...

Oh, thanks for the advice, I am not having the money on the bank account, because the money are in my condo..

Hey mate,

I applied as Carpenter. My application reached CIO on 2/04/2012.

I'm very curious why Europeans want To migrate to
Canada is it really getting that bad here?

its not the situation in europe which makes me "leave", its just the fact that i like canada, :) the nature, the mentality...
originally i wanted to go to australia...or New zealand, been there for a year...loved it, too....but it was just to expensive to immigrate....and well to far away...flight tickets ect.....and the big spoiders.... lol

@scandinavian

i don't know how to proceed if the money is in your condo. i guess it doesn't work that way. they possibly want to see the actual money in your account. sry, can't help you in this case. all i can say is, that i didn't need to give any proof of funds so far, because i had a job(offer) and i just needed to write down the (annual) salary in order to get my CSQ for the QSW. Whether i still have to show my funds the moment i'm done (or approved) with the Federal Part, meaning, the "landing", which means that you have to show your funds in about 1-2 years when immigration is almost done,.... THIS, i don't know.

I'm in New Zealand at the moment, moving back to Canada in november.
Will start my application then. Applying as a Skilled Worker.
Got a job offer and a visa for the next 12 months.

Judging by the poor perfomance at the Euro's, I can't be proud to be Dutch now haha
