Hi all, I became Canadian recently and have surender Ed my Indian pp and got my evisa. My employer is askin for valid work authorization to work from India. Anyone tried other visa type for India to work from there for a Canadian employer?
Ideally, you can not work on e-visa. If you have OCI - you can work from INDIA.

Yes. eVisa takes a couple of days only, in my experience. Simple and quick.

Even if you get your Cdn passport, by April 15, you still have enough time to get an eVisa.

yes correct, tried reaching out to Delhi, CGI Toronto for options. we can work (legally) for foreign worker in India only with OCI. IF the employer is not asking for work authorization, then no issues.

Hi can anyone help with my question: When I am trying to apply for evisa, it is giving an option to choose an expected arrival date within the next 120 days. Would there be any problem if I enter the date as 120 days from now (max date option availble) receive the evisa but travel after 120 days? i.e) if I receive the evisa but travel after 180 days? Thank you!
