Entry and renewal of my PR card

We have PR card of CANADA

we entered into CANADA on 30/05/2014 and left 15/08/2014 so we stayed there around 2 and half moths there.
Now it is more than 3 years we are living outside of canada.
Can we enter again into Canada now?
If i will come first and after 2 moths my family member will come then immigration officer allow them to enter in Canada. kindly reply me soon. if we all live more than 3 yeas outside Canada can we entered into canada ?

They will allow and may report if they found that you didn't meet RO.

You have not yet lived outside the country for 3 years given you spent 2.5 months after you initially landed so given the rules are you need to spend 730 days in first 5 years through in your case to 29/05/2019 so you need to accumulate 655 days more in the country by that date..

If you can enter before 15/8/2017 and others will correct my math you could still meet the residency obligation as long as you did not plan to leave again before 29/05/2019.

Hi you r welcome to come in as much as your PR is valid. Don't listen too much to people here . It's not as scary as people always say. What matters is you have got your PR card with you and it's expired! The best bet is to ensure you fly through an airport like Toronto where you can use a self machine hence you won't need to speak to any IO.
