We are applying outland through the Paris VO. We're a Swiss-Canadian family, we've been married 7 years and have 3 kids. Proof of our relationship that we are providing is as follows:

-marriage certificate
-birth certificates for the three kids
-family book (official Swiss document)
-photocopies of the kids passports (Swiss)
-photocopies of the children's application for Canadian citizenship
-a Swiss official lineage document (weird, I know, but I had to send it for my Swiss citizenship, so why not)
-copy of husband's passport and ID card
-copy of my passport and valid Swiss permit
-letters from each of the three communities (municipal authorities) we've lived in as a married couple in Switzerland stating our address and that we officially lived there together for x number of years.
-e-tickets and itineraries for our family vacations over the years
-pictures of our wedding ceremony and small reception
-pictures of us with each of our kids after their birth (not birth pics! although, that would be funny, lol)
-a few snapshots of our family through the years

Is this enough? We don't have a whole lot of phone records, since we live together. lol We work and live together so, we don't phone each other terribly often. lol

I just feel like no matter what we send, we could probably send more, but really after 7 years and three kids... I just wish they'd believe us and and give my husband his PR. lol

Your evidence looks very good. The only thing I see missing is financial evidence. Do you have joint bank accounts, credit cards, leases or records of joint purchases? Also any wills, estate planning docs, life insurance beneficiary or other such documents?

Personally......I think unless your hubby is an International terrorist ;D, this application is perfect.

Yep, we have far too many joint bank accounts (it seems Swiss people like to collect bank accounts ;D ). I am sending a statement from my employer regarding my salary and we're sending tax returns for the last 7 years. We will send a copy of our current lease on the house. We have life insurance policies etc., but I think that would be way too much, no? Plus policies here are automatically paid out to the spouse, so I am not sure we're directly listed as the beneficiary. Hmmm.

Hi etoile!

Just send a photocopy of anything that has your spouse as beneficiary. You don't need to provide any explanations.
