Hi,
As quoted from CIC website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp
"Purpose

To prove each work experience claim and to validate that the applicant meets program requirements

Document requirements

The personalized document checklist in MyCIC prompts the applicant with an upload field for each work experience declared.
At completeness check, the processing office only determines whether the required documents are included. The validity or fraudulence of the information is assessed only if and when the application is placed into processing.
The following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared:

a reference or experience letter from the employer
should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and e-mail address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company);
should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits.
if the work experience is in Canada, proof may include copies of T4 tax information slips, Notices of Assessment (NOA) and Option C printouts issued by the Canada Revenue Agency (the time period for these documents should reflect the work experience timeframe, e.g., work experience from 2006 to 2008 requires only documents from those calendar years).
if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income, and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience).
Individuals who must submit this documentation

The principal applicant
Their spouse or common-law partner (if work experience in Canada is claimed)"
Hope this helps!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I have worked from 2011-2013 under one title, and then in the same company from October 2014-present under a more professional title and different kind of contract -
The Job description is exactly the same for both.

Can I have one letter for both the periods and upload the same thing twice?
I will mention something along the lines as "she has worked here under the capacity of Title 1 from 2011-2013 (Salary xxx), and then upon completion of her overseas Masters in 2014, she has joined the unit once again as a professional consultant, with the official title of Title 2 (Salary yyy). Job responsibilities for both jobs are similar, as below" and then list out the duties...

Salary for YYY is less than XXX - though title is better, and job description is exactly the same (its weird!!) should that make a difference? Ofcourse will add the other info such as hours of work, fulltime, company info, etc.)

Please advise

One letter is enough for both job titles. Just mention both titles and initial and final salaries. Even my case is like that.

Thanks..

Even though my final is less than initial by quite a margin? (as I said weird system - they give a good title but different contract, so works a bit different - I accepted it because its the job I enjoy and great reputation of firm so worth it for a while) Could that be an issue?

HI ALL,

I HAVE A QUICK QUESTION. MY PREVIOUS EMPLOYER MAILED ME MY EXPERIENCE LETTER BUT THEY FORGOT TO MENTION HOURS WORKED PER WEEK (EVEN THOUGH THEY MENTIONED PAY/PER AND HOW MUCH I USED TO MAKE MONTHLY).

ALSO, IN MY EXPRESS ENTRY PROFILE I MENTIONED I WORKED WITH THEM FROM "JANUARY 2011 TO DECEMBER 2012" IN THE LETTER SHE WROTE "APRIL 2011 TO DECEMBER 2012". IS IT SOMETHING TO BE WORRIED ABOUT AND ASK HER TO MAKE ME A NEW ONE IT WON'T BE AN ISSUE?

KINDLY HELP,

THANKS IN ADVANCE Smiley

I think it would be better to get a new one, if possible.

Hey guys,
My last employer was a total b****, and refuses to issue reference letters to anyone. It's actually become her policy. She's usually afraid that by issuing a reference letter she's losing employees or handing employees over to other organizations. Those who quit, like myself, can forget asking her for any "favours" as she sees it as "you left her". I'm not even kidding, the lady has serious issues. Anyways, with that said, there is absolutely no way I can get an employment letter from her, or at least one that is issued on the company's letterhead. Believe me, I already tried.

So my question: Are there any other alternatives? Would ROE, T4, and NOA be enough if accompanied by a letter from my lead and/or former associate director??

No one really 'knows' if that would be enough but that's the best you can do and that's what you need to tell the officer in a very convincing manner while simultaneously providing all the supporting documents at your disposal. And politely request the officer via the LOE to treat your case favorably and on its merits.
