Email Response From "CPP Ottawa"

I have applied for Permanent residency for my parents. I and my wife are jointly sponsoring them. I am the legal representative in their file. We have completed the medical work for both my parents and submitted to Ottawa office. Today morning when I have checked the status of the application on-line I have got the following messages:

1) Medical results have been received.
2) A decision has been made. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

When I was cleaning my Junk mail folder I saw one email there from “CPP Ottawa” but by accident I deleted that email without reading that and unable to retrieve that email. I have contacted “Yahoo Mail Support” but they could not retrieve that as well. I am assuming that email may be related to the decision you have made regarding my sponsorship application.

I have sent an email to CPP Ottawa with all details regarding that application and requested them to resent that email to me. I have not yet received any reply from them. It has been already 1 week. Within in how many days I do get a response from them? If at all I do not get any response from them what would be the next step?

Are they going to cancel my application just because I did not responses to their previous email which I accidentally deleted?

Please advise.

Thank you,
Manojit Saha.

Call the CIC call center and see if they can provide more details on the email.

When I emailed them I got an email back exactly one week later... I couldn't call because I'm outside the country but if I were you'd I'd definitely ring them!

That's the first thing I did. I called the CIC Call Centre and they told me once your file move to Ottawa processing centre, CIC call centre has no access to that file and cannot give me any detail about that application. According to CIC call centre only options left with me is either Email, Regular Mail or Fax to Ottawa processing centre.

I have emailed as well as send a regular mail to Ottawa Processing centre. Now only thing I can do is just wait.
