Hi everybody,

as previously said, I'm not gonna request an ATIP file, but what if my process was sent to Montreal and these last processes approved are all from PRC Sydney?

It's good to think that the end is approaching, but is it really?

Wait, wait, wait!!!

For you guys who are curious about how your file is doing, you have the choice to request and have an access to atif.

I have been stressed out and so disappointed over this for months, it ruined my everyday. So now, I just prefer to be positive because "wait" is an operative word in our case. There's just some things in life that we have no control over with. I know some application did not go well and if mine will be one of them I will deal with it then.

For now, I'll hope to see more and more in our family here get their card and one day, my time will come. Have a good day everyone!

If my PR card expires and I don't apply for renewal for a year or two, because I only travel by road to US and back, would Canadian officials give me a hard time at the border?

In other words, entering by land on expired card and no renewal applied any worse than entering on expired card with renewal application in secondary review?

It depends on when you are moving in and out before you met RO or after you met RO. If you didnt meet RO any time CBSA might report you to cic

Not all cases going to SR it depends on your luck/bad luck

You're totally right Kissyred, we gotta be positive. Sometimes waiting is a tough thing to do for so long. But I realize that within two days it will be 8 months after process sent to secondary review. I waited until now, I can wait more. I am just a little bit more anxious these last weeks as I see that this whole process finally may be coming to an end.

Cheers and fingers crossed for good news!

Hmmm...I notice he/she applied an urgent in June though so that could be the reason why he/she got the approval earlier?
Anyhow, it still good to know. :)

- I applied for PR Renewal in early Nov. Got AOR - Dec 1st.
- Application has been in process since. No secondary renewal notification yet

Mid-December:
I called and they said the application has been approved and sent for production.

Today:
I called them and the said the application has been Approved but is in Verification.

Questions:
1) Am I out of the dreaded secondary review zone?
2) How can you be Approved and still be in Verification? What does that even mean?
