i think they opened it maybe just for testing or mistake. Now they closed it without any accept because the total number is still 1700, 500 in Jan, 500 in May and 700 in July.

I will be highly surprised if it was a mistake. Saskatchewan website mentioned that it is open. I received an email from my lawyer saying they submitted. If it was an error then within few hours they will announce saying it was a mistake. Lets see. I wont start my celebration for next few hours.

when I received an email from lawyer, it was showing open. It hardly remained open for more than one hour to the max. It went super quick.

It means that now it will not open in 2016, as I can see 500+500+700 :-(

I think it is not a mistake. In my opinion, they try to reach 1700 nomination. It is not possible to nominate all applications and they opened the stream again for rejections.

I contacted them and got this response today :

"It was opened at 8 am today and closed at 11 am as the SINP met its threshold for 300 new applicants. Please keep checking our website as to when this category will be re-opened. At this point an time the SINP office has not been advised by the Federal Immigration as to when it will be reopened. Thank you for your interest in SINP."
