Folks,

What are the chances for the applicants in 400 to 450 band? Do you think CRS to come down to this level? It is simply waiting from May 2016. Cant do much except reading the posts, keeping the documents ready and googling about canada immigration.

Thank you,
Pawshi
Since Jan 2015, there hasn't been a single round with a cut off less than 450 CRS points.
OINP invites candidates with 400 or more CRS points.
For time being, we can say that 450 is the floor and IRCC intends to maintain the cut-offs at 450 or above. IRCC needs to take the PNPs into consideration before they think of droping down the scores below.
If cut-offs fall as low as 400, then who will apply for OINP???

The only way we can believe is when there is a draw with a cut off below this floor.
Don't take chances, kindly apply for PNP - the best option to increase CRS points to secure ITA.

Does anyone know for Ontario PNP do you need to apply for it or does Ontario need to send an NOI before you apply?

You cannot apply to OINP on your own.
You must receive NOI from OINP in your EE profile, only then you can apply for it.
Currently, OINP is expected to resume sending the NOI from Nov/Dec 2016 onwards as per their update on website.
Just be patient for a few more weeks.
All the best.

Dear fellow members,

I have a query, i had created my EE profile in April and so far havent received the NOI.I would like to know when i received the NOI do i have time limit to accept it or does the 45 day timer start the day i receive the NOI.

If otherwise how long do i have to accept the NOI.

Regards,

Human capital stream is at the moment stopped at ontario. You need to wait until it reopens again. Check their website frequently.

Once you receive the NOI from Ontario, the timer starts that day itself. There is nothing like accepting or declining the NOI. You simply send in your application and it should reach within 45 days of the receipt of your NOI. If you send it by International courier, then it takes maximum 4 working days.
Maybe now in Nov/Dec 2016, they can start online application system for OINP. SINP has already started online applications since long time and it's high time a more developed province like Ontario implements it at the earliest.

Hey guys, I got an email telling me that my application was updated, and when I checked my CIC I do see the status "updated", but I don't see any change, does anyone know what's that?

Sitting at 440 since September 2015. My noc is 4011.

Well, that's what we have done.

1) me as primary + spouse = 440
2) spouse as primary + me = 426

Both have different primary NOC codes. EE profile 1 may get picked on points alone... however EE profile 2 may get picked based on his NOC.

Our proof of funds are in a joint bank account.

When one gets an ITA, the other EE profile will be withdrawn so we only ever SUBMIT one application.

Hope this helps.

Hi,
Can you please tell me how a profile can be picked based on NOC like you mentioned for your spouse?
Thanks

The same thing happened with me and in the next draw I got an ITA, though this does not happen always. What is your score by the way ?

I meant picked on PNP if a Province wants certain NoCs, sorry for the confusion.
