You should not create 2 profiles, that amounts to misinterpretation. Please withdraw the current EE profile and recreate a new one.

recreate a new one using the same gc key?

Yes, using the same GC Key. i.e., same login

We are all in the same boat and i know exactly what you mean.
you recieved a PT so atleast you have an 80% chance of being selected in the next 3 months :D

Hi all,

what are the chances of getting PNP, if CRS score is 441 ?
and if we get OINP, is it certain that PR is issued, provided we meet all conditions ?

CIC hasn't given out ITAs to anyone lower than CRS 450 yet.

If you are have met all conditions, why would they NOT issue you PR?

Hi All,

My score is 430. Applied for OINP on 11th January 2016.

thanks for the response.
do we have any list of people, who got till PPR or atleast an inch closer ,with CRS score 400 to 450 ?
that will inspire :)

thanks !!!

Hello All,

Hope it's been a good start to the new year for all.

I recreated my EE profile in Dec '15. I have a CRS score of 429 and have applied under NOC 1122. Earlier, I had applied under a different NOC - 2171, corresponding to a different and older time period of my professional career.

It appears people with lesser scores have received OINP PT notifications since December, but I haven't.

Any thoughts about why this might be? Is there anything I can do at my end to increase my chances?

Also, I have taken out all my previous work experiences from my EE profile with the exception of those corresponding to NOC 1122 as I want to limit the documentation work if I get an invite. Is this a problem or is this fine/advisable?

Thanks very much for the help.

Regards,
Sameer

Hi All,

Me too in the pool with the rest of you all. My CRS is 412. Received OINP PT notification on 23/12/2015. Now in the process of applying for the same.
Wishing to sail smooth :)

I had a 441 score initially and got invited due to a PN from Ontario which bumped my score to 1041, I am glad I applied to it as I was reluctant at first and thinking the scores will go lower..... and I do not mean to bring anyone down but I really doubt scores will go below 450 anytime soon ....

In the mid year report they released, it stated that by 6 July, 2015 , there were 8,770 EE profiles with scores between 400 and 449 .... I believe this number probably increased by a few thousands since then with many more applying or scores increasing with sitting IELTS again or obtaining masters ..... so if you have a change for a PNP....go for it !!!

Regards,

I score 415 points due to IELTS. I have L8.5 R9 W6.5 S8
If I scored 0.5 points more in writing my CRS would be 473. Screw this IELTS

Same here buddy I have 417 and 0.5 more on writing would have made it 470+

Same situation, but it's better to spend money on ielts than spending 75 k on oinp .......however crs requirement will reduce to 400 this year is the estimation.

Yes i have received the PT. I have prepared all the required documents to apply for OONP. One other thing I am worried about is the Proof Of Funds. I have garnered my financial resources just after receiving the PT. I have borrowed some money too. I have planned to go for it anyways. Will try my luck. Just not sure how much they dig into financials. :( :( I have read many of the posts on POF in this forum. Each have different opinion.
May I know the docs needed and the process for pnp filing after we receive a provincial interest message .

Cheers.

You might get your answer as per the below update on OINP Website:

November 24, 2015

Express Entry is an Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) application management system to manage permanent resident applications for skilled migration to Canada.

Ontario uses Express Entry (EE) to select potential nominees for permanent residence under two Ontario Express Entry Streams.

It has come to our attention that technical issues may have resulted in candidates not receiving Notification of Interest (NOI) though they believe they meet the criteria for Ontario’s Express Entry streams. If you believe you fall into this category and have not received an NOI within one month of submitting your EE profile, we encourage you to create a new profile in the EE system. If you create a new EE profile, you must delete your old profile.

If you have any questions about your EE profile please contact Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada.
