I am having 426 points and was waiting from last 6 months. I found other people getting invites for Ontario hence based on recommendations on group, I resubmitted my profile. Upon submission within 6 days, I got an PT (don't know the full form... some people says PT... while letter says provisional nomination etc.)
Now I have following questions:
1) Shall i accept the nomination and proceed OR wait for normal cut-off. My points are 426
Accept the invitation and apply for nomination. Unlikely that the cutoff will ever fall to 426.
2) How much time I have to accept the nomination. While filling application for Ontario, if the cut-off go below 426, can I refuse ONT and apply through normal process ?
45 days.
3) what are next steps after accepting the nomination ?
Read here ---> http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL_APPLY.html
4) Shall i consider it almost certain to have mine application considered (assuming medical and funds managed)
No guarantees. Depends on your documents.
5) Do you think its worth going to Toronto without job ? I am doing a senior management job in India
Personal decision. No one can answer this on your behalf. As with anything else in life, some people succeed while others don't. Exactly the same way in which you're doing a senior management job in India while many others aren't. I'm guessing it took a lot of hard work, patience and some luck to get where you are now - expect more of the same for Toronto as well.
6) Which city is better Toronto or Vancouver ?
On the jobs front, Toronto is probably a tad better than Vancouver. Vancouver is probably a tad more expensive than most parts of Toronto. Vancouver certainly has better weather than Toronto for the most part.
7) If I get PR for Canada, can I still apply for PR for any other country for example Australia ?
Yes.
waiting for response..
