wait for the scores to drop. I am also waiting at 438. Meanwhile try applying to any province like New Brunswick or Nova Scotia or Susketchwen or Prince Edward Island. Go through sites of all provinces and do the needful.

Increase due to IELTS scores.

L.7 R.8 S.7 W.7 - the old ones.
L.8 R.9 S.7 W.7 - new scores.

What I did? Everything in English was my motto these days. Tried to think in English, speak as much as I could and read everything in English.

I am at 426, maxed out on IELTS points as I have CLB 9 on all sections. I lost 5 points in August due to the age factor. My EE is profile is under FSW (inland), and my PGWP is expiring at the end of Feb next year. I didn't get the 40 points for Canadian experience since the work experience which I used to apply under FSW was gained while I was a student. Haven't received any invite from OO Ontario yet. What can I do? Can't afford to go back home

since you are inland applicant, can't you check your options to get LMIA??
You can also think about going for work permit extension.
I am not aware about your exact situation and your job, but getting LMIA will be a good option for you.

Try to practise as much as possible. Do time bound mock tests. Writing the most challenging part.
Writing, Task 1 , should have at least 3 paras, address the issue directly.
Task 2, write at least 4-5 Paras, use connecting words in paras, try to exemplify your statements, and don't forget to summarise/ conclude.

The most challenging part of test is writing. I strongly advise to read books by Mike Wattie and Ryan Higgins about writing essays for IELTS. It helped me increase my score to CLB 9
