Apparently, the POF evidence wasn't sufficiently clear to prove that my funds were net of outstanding debts and my application did not have additional document to support these letters. I did upload the LOE and I clearly remember that because that was the only thing that required explanation. Either the LOE wasn't good enough or it never transmitted in the first place. Anyways, I've created a fresh profile and entered the pool again (though Job Bank registration still says 'Pending' even though I got that EE pool acceptance mail in MyCIC, hope that is just a formality). And now that those funds have been in the bank untouched for almost 6 months, POF shouldn't be a problem the next time around. I'm also planning to send in a CSE but the rejection letter is pretty discouraging on that front - doesn't seem reopening the application is a possibility - but I'm going to try that nonetheless with strong supporting documents. I have the same situation with my application - my mother gifted me the equivalent of the required funds and they've been sitting in a fixed deposit since April, in my name. Just about a month before I applied. I gave proof of the FD and a letter from that bank plus my 6 months' bank statements from my account which has my salary credited and spends of every month. I attached a notarized letter from my mother clarifying the funds. Here's hoping that was enough for them or ill be joining you soon
In my case, the document was missing so that might be the reason for the lack of response for CIC. In your case, if you give a detailed LOE explaining the POF thoroughly, I'm sure they might consider reopening your application. After reading that some users got their ECAS changed to ' In Process' today (odd for a Saturday I believed) i decided to check mine and to my surprise it also changed to In Process this AM!! I checked last night at around 10 pm and still was "Application Received".
Not sure if I should be excited or worry now... Last 'massive' In process group (June 19) ended up waiting way too long after that update... Some still are!
Anyways, I am hoping for the best!

I'm sure you'll get your 2nd ITA soon. I admire your courage and strength in facing this trial.
I'm crossing my fingers since all the POF I submitted is under my husband's name. I assumed that since we are legally married and accompanying each other in Canada, we both own all the properties including cash in bank equally even if it's just under one of our names. Oh well, no point in worrying. Just praying CIC would be reasonable...

^^ Is there any way to send documents in your name now before a decision is made? Maybe through CSE? I remember several forum members saying that spouse name statements will not work...as per CIC also, it mentions that it should be submitted by PA.

Well, in our case it would take too long since my husband is working in another country. And I have a feeling in my gut that anytime now, the decision will be made. On whether it will be favourable or not, remains to be seenEFK said:
Our application has so many glitches but I will share our whole story once a decision has been made-whether favourable or not. But for starters I would like to share that CIC isn't at all THAT reasonable. I overlooked the birthdate stated in my police clearance and it stated the wrong date. They requested a new PCC with the correct birthday. So, they don't really reject application outright. Or maybe I was just lucky.
I am also a June 19. Anyway here is to hoping guys! Sending you some positivity and good jujus!
