It depends on the LVO really. What happens next is that you get a second PPR letter but this time from your LVO. The wording and some of the requirements you saw in the one from Ottawa may differ from the second one. You should be conservative and cover all your bases by trying to fulfill the...

I saw that on the auto-reply email but I haven't seen a case in this forum waiting for that long (20 business days) yet. And by the end of next week my 30 days deadline will be up :/. That's what worries me! I guess I don't have much to do rather than wait though...

What exactly did you submit as "proof"? just the form? If that's the case then I think you could send the CSE with your passport's scans and explain that you weren't sure about the request. if you submitted a letter along with the form or explained somewhere that you haven't traveled abroad then...

Hello everybody, I have read most of your experiences changing to local visa offices in this thread and I was wondering if any of you has Mexico as their LVO? According to CIC website my LVO would be there. I received PPR on Sept 25th and requested the change but haven't heard anything back...

Thanks for the clarification Anya, I haven't heard such cases before but it is good to know that there are some apps entirely processed locally.

All express entry applications are being processed in Ottawa. The issuing of PR visas once the application is approved however is done at the Local Visa Offices. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp

They send them anytime on the day or night. Mine came in at 10:24 PM EST... other member have reported getting the email early in the morning... So I guess it varies.
