I always knew we would be guinea pigs but this is not what I was expecting on 6/19. There seem to be no clear reasons to hold back a particular batch of applicants. Running out of logical scenarios and patience...

Hang in there man :) the wait will be worth it

Not if it kills me :-\

People from May AORs have their PPRs... imagine!
I mean our lives depend on EE, CIC should be sensitive in handling our cases. :'(

I can understand your frustration.. My status has been App Received since May last week.. :(

Could status change happen during daytime right before PPR?

i sense Wednesday has already gone by for me again.

Wednesday has still not started for CIC :)

A standard D day procedure would start from a status change overnight and PPR during daytime, that is my understanding. Am I right? I hope I am wrong...

Hello there,

I will be applying now as a principle single applicant. I have almost a month remaining to apply after receiving an ITA. I will be getting married in 2-3 months. I have a few questions about this.

1. What would be the recommended way to obtain PR for the spouse then, to update CIC after I apply that I am married and then send application for the spouse also?

2. Or would it be better to send application now only?

3. What documents will usually be needed for spouse if I update CIC later. Will the spouse will need IELTS as well?

Thank you in advance

Haven't seen a lot of outlanders getting PPRs over the last 5-6 weeks, there have been very few exceptions. Most PPRs since mid June have gone to the Feb/Mar applicants. August should bring in some cheer - if we are stuck so are all others behind us.

I really hope it happens by mid-August. I have zero intention to be working here in October. Resignation is badly needed for the sake of my sanity!

I seriously hope that too, three, four!! :-X
We all would have crossed 105 days marks by first week of August, I think that would be it!

I finish my Job on Friday... I took the rash decision of handing my notice in 2 weeks after inprocess, hoping it would come through soon... Great for sanity, BAD for planning...

You're out of your mind! :o That was a hell of a step. But if we get PPR by next week then the huge risk will be worth it.

Are you basically ready to fly to Canada as soon as you get back the PP (say in 3 weeks or so?)
