Hi! Aarti@

Welcome here.

Together we will applying in EE. I am going to complete my 1 year residency here in Canada this coming March. Maybe I choose FSTP.

Is these means that all Inside Canada has a big chance to get the invitation or automatically invited.

Thanks, that list is what everyone is waiting for.

It looks like they are drawing a line between people with a offer and people without. because people without a job offer can never get more than 600/1200 and those with job offer get at least 600 (for applicants without a spouse)

They are giving more advantage on people with high education, compared to Canadian experience.

IMO, Whether those with a job will get invitation immediately depends on quotas/applicants on every draw (i.e supply & demand). It is possible that quotas used up before applicants does, in such case the lower-ranked applicants among those with a job won't get invitation. (And vice versa)

Waiting to see others view on this.

Guys what about people with full time job offer which is without lmo.

I think in that case you wont be able to get those 600 points. But that would count in as Canadian experience if it falls under NOC 0,A,B

Why FSTP nebm31...I thot u are applying in CEC as u have valid job offer?

WELL..have you completed all formalities....ECA , ielts..etc for EE profile?.

Being single earn you more points by this announcement..though could not understand the deep underlying meaning of this..

Any insights?

Thanks,
Aarti

Applicants will be subject to the current programs, so under EE, if you want to apply under CEC as a Cook or Food Service Supervisor or any other of the banned occupations, you are still not elegible for EE

FSTP= Federal Skilled Trade Program. This category belongs to applicants that are currently working inside Canada temporarily with LMO and no need for education assessment. On this path it is easy to qualify.

All apllicants claiming points on education , even high school, mus provide Education Assesment.

As per the The Ministerial Instruction you need to qualify under the current programs, CIC is not accepting apllications for Cooks under FSTP, so they are not elegible under EE , let's wait and see if the requirements for CEC, FSW and FSTP are updated and the situation will be diferent BUT if the cook has a bachelors degree in Gastronomy he will be elegible as a FSW
