Hi everyone,

The Ministerial instructions does not mention anything about Police Clearances, Proof of Funds and Medicals. Will these come into the picture after Invitation to Apply ?

Also I understand that there is no minimum score for IELTS ? Am I correct ?

And I don't see points for foreign work experience only. It has to be in combination with Canadian Exp ?? I feel the system has become partial to those already working in Canada (CEC). They have a better edge over the FSW applicants.

And points for relative in Canada is also not there :-(

I am still to figure out how Express Entry would work. Anyhow, any comments on my profile vis-a-vis Express Entry ? A brief about me:

1. 5+ years of work experience as a Specialist Pediatrician
2. MBBS, MD post grad from one of the top most Institute in India
3. 1 1/2 year work + training experience in Canada .
4 IELTS score Overall 8.5
5. 34 years of age
6. Married
7. 1 yr Son Born in Canada /Canadian
8. Permanant Job offered in Saskatchewan as a Pediatrician with LMIA positive from 2015 October (400k salary)

Requesting someone to comment on my chances via Express Entry program 2015.
Should i wait for Express entry (worried if i will make the points) or should i go ahead and right away apply for Canada Experience Class on my current experience
or apply for Provincial Nominee Program.
How many points would i score .Can someone Calculate and whats the minimum i would need .

Guys guess what, I called CIC today morning and as per them if you have PGWP and arranged employment, and you will not be eligible for 600 points.
-As per the agent only those who has LMIA approved job will be eligible for the points not the people who are LMIA exempt
-According to the agent, we need to register our self in the job bank and get a LMIA approved job
-I told that thousands of people who have PGWP will have to leave their current job in order to get a LMIA approved jobs, do u think that makes sense?
-I was told that is the case

I am confused with all this... We all students start work from 10.25 slowly to supervisor/Managers, my question is whether when we will count our experience over all or only for manager.supervisor...

Please help me out with my confusion:

-I have applied for my PNP, which will be processed next February 2015 as the quota was filled
Now in January 2015 I will be applied for CEC and I will apply through EE, now what if I get my PNP? Will they consider it ?

As per question 9 in CIC

“here are two ways to do this. A person can:
• apply to the PNP first, get a nomination and then fill out an Express Entry profile; or
• fill out the Express Entry profile first. Provinces and territories can then search the Express Entry pool and ask a candidate to apply for their PNP. When the candidate gets a nomination certificate, they will update their Express Entry profile”


If I get nominated, I won't be nominated via EE search but because I already applied? Please help

SURE ! You will get 600 points just for your job offer. Your chances are great. Make sure you get your credentials assesed, and to get higer points get your wife's credentials assesed and ask her to write the English exam .

The decision is yours, EE will be a draw , six months process after getting ITA, CEC your application is processed if you qualify, from 11-14 months for a decision. You can submit your application now, in Jan submit your profile for EE and if invited, withdraw the CEC after approval.
