Hello
Please I will appreciate getting insight on the education requirement for hccp. I am considering applying for HCCP in 2025. I am not in Canada.
I have done WES for just my college degree (approved as 3 years diploma equivalent).
  1. Do I also need to get my high school assessed by WES?
  2. My husband is currently studying in Canada am I eligible to apply as a child caregiver?
Thanks

Program is closed and hasn’t been announced if and when it will reopen. So you have an Employer to apply?
1. No.
2. Is spouse studying a Masters/PhD and has the funds?

Yes, I understand the program is closed for now. I just want to get information on if I qualify to apply under this stream since my husband is currently studying in Canada. I also want to know what I can do to prepare.
Yes my sister-in-law (in Alberta) is my employer.
My spouse is in second (1year diploma) in Ontario. We have funds to support our application.
Previous applications (for me and my 3 kids) are spousal open work permit (last year) and visitors visa (this year) both were rejected.

We are open to either caregiver, PNP or other suitable options.

I will appreciate your thoughts/suggestions.

Thanks!

You can apply if you qualify. Just keep in mind that processing times are around 3 years so it will be awhile before you are approved to come to Canada.

Are you sure about this 3-year wait time? I guess, people who applied in Jan 2024 got visa in 6-9 months time.

That uses to be the expected processing time. If things have gotten a great deal faster, that great news. Always thought it was nuts that it took so long.
