Congrats Hipchick!

ITA: May 22
Application submitted: June 19
Application Status: Decision Made - Sometime in last 2 weeks... Wasn't checking regularly..

I see a lot of applicants mentioned a "Ghost email". What does that mean?

Hello All,

My Ecas is showing "Decision Made" and I think it was updated some time last week. Any one know how long (approx) it will take to get the real "decision"

Thanks

I got ppr guys

Congrats man. When did you get it? anytime today?

Anyone from Sept 4 DM still awaiting PPR? Been about 3 weeks and now I am really tensed. :(

Anyone knows about the rate of rejection after reaching Decision Made status in ECAS?

Just received DM at 1:00AM today, not sure what is the outcome. Please refer to my signature for timeline.

Hi there,
I got Decision Made on ECAS at midnight Sep.22. But my cic account has nothing updated.
I called CIC this morning, the lady is very polite. She said: everything looks good, but you will have to wait for the outcome, CIC will update the information every Wednesday..
She did not say my application was approved or not. Is this a good sign?

Usually if it's a rejection based on potential inadmissible issues such as employment reference problem (unable to contact your employer), traceable report from RCMP, or medical-related issues, the CIC procedure requires VO to send you a "Procedural Fairness Letter" to offer the applicant a chance of appeal and your application will never reach "decision made" process if there is any rejection.

However there are cases that VO are allowed to send a direct rejection without procedural letter. For example, if there is NOC mismatch or missing "permanent" keyword if you have LMIA, there might be straight rejections after DM (we have seen some cases on the forum).

Above are information I collected based on CIC operational guideline and this forum. Other members are welcome to comment.

Interesting insights... Thanks ciscotao...

Just wondering.. Is there a difference in timing for PPR/ rejection letter after "Decision Made"?

I'm not sure. But from what I have seen on this forum, rejection after DM all comes pretty soon, while PPR can take 2 days to 3 weeks to come..
