This is great! Thanks for that. Do you think one could send a letter like this while not being a resident of Canada? To whom send it in that case?
Did you send it via a regular mail or via e-mail? How would I go about finding mailing/e-mail address to MP?
Thanks a ton!

@Michal

I am not sure if you can send a letter to MP if you are not an inlander. MPs usually try to help the residents of their constitution. In your case I am not sure about your place of residence in Canada. They usually ask for the residence address to see if you are a resident of their constitution to provide help.

Alternately if you have a potential employer from Canada, pick that place as your future residence in Canada and address the local MP while finding ze's email ID in google search. I am not sure if this will work though.

Good Luck!

today dm, hope for best

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/got-rejected-t349203.60.html

Guys, entering the club here. DM on Sep21.

Mar27 ITA, May15 AOR, Aug14 In Process, Sep19 - Application updated, Sep21 DM

Just sounding a bit cautious here - the candidate in the above thread got rejected after DM. Do you guys know if:

1. Is he CEC? Rejection reason seems to be NOC not aligned with reference letters.
2. How did he get to know about 'Rejection' on the same day as DM ?

thoughts ?

Second Aor July 17th.

Hey everyone.

I sent for my Bowp June 12th as my visa expired June 17th. I applied without AOR as I didn't have an ITA. Received AOR August 11th so sent case inquiry to attach it to my file. Today I got my Bowp in the mail. Last night my PR application went to decision made. I tried calling cic today (20 times, spoke to 3 agents) and no one could update me on my 'decision made'. I'm a little uneasy as my application was only sent 6 weeks ago
However getting my Bowp means something is on track!!

CEC inland

ITA August 9th
Application sent August 11th
AOR August 11th
Medical passed August 14th
Background in progress August 14th

Decision Made September 21st

Bowp approved means a good sign for your PR application. You will PPR in few days.

Just a thing I noticed. No one on the forum received a PPR since more than past week and a half (except for Rasber, which seems to be an exceptional case due to the involvement of the local MP office - if anyone else, please correct me). Wonder if it has to do with some internal CIC decision tied to the upcoming elections (considering there were regular PPR requests up until before this past week)
