Will it make sense to request GCMS notes at this point? I got DM on 14th September. Or should I wait for 1 more week? If I apply GCMS notes then it takes 2 weeks to receive it right?

Not worth it at this point. Some people have waited a month for PPR after DM. Or if you're panicking about what it is just give them a call to find out.

I was praying not to go for DM, rather direct PPR, I could wait same time that I'm waiting right now. Feels like someone told me, hey your final result came out guess what did you get, result there but don't want to give you. Its too much dramatic now. When I've found DM in my application I'm like ??? . COz it much stressful. Now I am thinking what would be the decision. stresssfullll ??? ???

I just got DM today but my medical is still showing a not needed at this time and BG status in progress.

Any chance of rejection after Decision Made?

I have read just one occurrence of rejection after ECAS status changed to Decision Made. Apart from that everyone got PPR after 2-4 weeks of Decision Made.

@ dobes and Ibyt there is a resident visa that you can apply for which you can get in cases such as losing your PRC or not receiving it - that's what the officer explained as we already asked him! Of course we could have opted not to land all together and he does as what boes said, but it is fun to do it all together as a family... right 8) 8)

Thanks for your response, I only asked initially because I'm most likely going to be in the same situation soon so I just wanted to know how your husband will go about it . But then again, I don't even know how long he will be gone for so maybe his PRC will come before he returns to Canada.

We will check the visa ask have heard of it, landing together as a family was the best idea tbh.
