My CIC stays background check not started.

So should I be looking out for background check to go in progress or can I expect a decision directly?

Your background check will go to "in progress" before you get a decision. If you are an inland applicant it usually goes to in progress when your medical passes. However, if you are outland, it can take a awhile to change after your medical passes. Of course, there doesn't seem to be any hardcore pattern when it comes to the CIC and the PR process.

Can any one confirn how many photos CIC asks in PPR for inlanders? The photos need to be date stamped in the back?

Can any one confirn how many photos CIC asks in PPR for inlanders? The photos need to be date stamped in the back?

Two. The directions are very precise, and can be found by searching PR card photos on the CIC website. Basically, the photos must be less than 6 months old, and the back has to be stamped with the name and address of the place that took them and the date. Then you have to write your name and birthdate in on that tiny space as well! The back of the other photo can be blank. I might have forgotten something, so take a look at the instructions on CIC.

seems like there are not many PPRs this week. Maybe due to the long weekend, lots of officers are on vacation!!

Hope they will send our PPs together ! my got changed to approved sept 2nd but they didnt mail it yesterday or day before yesterday. Hoping they will do it today so i can have it Wednesday
