Hello autumnsummer7,
Is there an update on your application yet ?
No PPR yet. It has been 75 days now.
I got my GCMS notes. Interesting information there.
1. It clearly says in multiple places the application final status is APPROVED. It was done on June 3rd 2015 19:39 PM. Entire processing happened in the month of May. I submitted on March 27th.
2. After requesting Schd A document, the only update to "outgoing docs" section is "Application Transferred" with status as "Not Started".
3. There are at least 4 tasks assigned to officer RC-9515, after the case is determined as approved and every single task is "Not Started". He/She even is given a due date to finish it. The due date is "whitened out" (erased).
4. "Finalize application - Document Issuance" section has most recent update (Document -1) and Document-2 "whitened out" or erased. Document 3 & 4 are COPR and COPR counterfoil assigned to be printed with status as "Not Started" in the print queue.
5. I can see primary office set to CPC-Ottawa and the secondary office is set to "Calgary CIC". Not sure why. I believe this should be CIC Sydney.
6. From the notes section I can see one officer saying original offer letter does not describe the job with the word "permanent" and requesting review by another officer. Another officer reviews all the docs related to employment (latest HR letter, sal slips, duties, Tax docs etc.) and confirms he is more than satisfied that this is a permanent job and changes application final status as APPROVED and he is satisfied with my CEC eligibility.
If only I can compare my GCMS notes with someone else who got their PPR and know how should the last update on each sub-section should look like, just before they were issued PPR, that would be greatly beneficial. This file is stuck somewhere (CIC Calgary???) and totally forgotten by the officers to finalize the last steps, is what I think is happening. The CIC agent refuses to talk about it unless 6 months elapses. I can understand if security related info are "whitened out" but conveniently erasing the most recent updates on important sections, now doesn't that defeat the purpose of "Access to Information" act?
This is intolerable cruelty.
